Amici Lodges

I was at this place for the first time for a week. It is beautifully integrated into the nature at Effelder Waldsee. Numerous parking spaces with a direct view of the lake. There are currently different categories of parking spaces (standard and comfort). According to the operator, the “simple” places around the Seewiese will probably be upgraded at the turn of the year with their own electricity, water and sewage connection for each plot. However, these pitches (C) are slightly smaller than the pitches in areas A and B. Unfortunately, we were assigned the wrong plot and there were some difficulties with the fresh and waste water. However, this was finally settled with the neighboring tenants and after the trip, a suitable equivalent was found in an open and very friendly dialogue with the management of the campsite. At this point, thank you very much for the fairness!The place is very clean, the shower house is always clean, but at peak times the number available is insufficient (4 showers for men, as well as toilets).Upon request, an expansion is planned here.There has recently been a baker who sells fresh bread and fresh rolls between 8:30 and 9:30 in the morning.The adjacent Amici Beaches water sports park can be used free of charge by campers, and you can get directly from the campsite to the entrance via the site.SUP can be ridden, but due to local administrative restrictions by the city of Wassenberg only in the swimmers' area. This is ideal during holiday periods or when the weather is hot;)The other side of the lake is a nature reserve and taboo for all sports.It's nice to watch a large flock of wild geese fly to and from the lake every morning and evening. Camping close to nature is still possible here.What there isn't is a small supermarket for the famous little things you forgot to take with you. But within a radius of about 10km you can find every supermarket imaginable. Either Aldi, Lidl etc. on the German side, or Aldi, Lidl, Albert Heyjn etc. on the Dutch side. No problem at all.If you specifically decide on a parking space on the edge of the Seewiese: there is a lot of fluctuation here. In addition to constantly changing "neighbors", this is also the entry path for guests on the way to the toilet etc.If you're looking for peace and quiet, you won't find it in these places.

This is the second and not the last time we've come to this great place. The staff here are also really great, nice and helpful

Really great place, large pitches, electricity + water directly on the motorhome space. Well-maintained facility + sanitary facilities. Everything is available, from your own beach to a kiosk and a small shop, even with a bread roll service. To Amici Beach Club about 15 minutes on foot. Great location. We'll definitely come back.
