Stayed for one night while doing the Rhine cycle route. The owner goes out his way to assist you. My bike was locked in his garage overnight. Room was spacious and comfortable. Normal buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. It’s approx a 5 mins walk into town which is stunning. Enjoyed my stay!!

We had booked but no one was available to check in at 2 p.m. Hours later the landlord was reachable, was very angry and threatened to call a lawyer because we had looked for something else in the meantime. There definitely would have been another solution. But you shouldn't book with people who directly threaten to get a lawyer.

Solid guesthouse In a quiet area of bacharach. Simple but functional, very clean rooms and the proprietors are super nice. Wish we could have stayed longer!

When you arrive you can not miss it. White lettering greets you and so will the owner. Private roofed parking and physically impaired accessible establishment. Tv in both rooms ( family room) decent linen and haribo on pillows ( funny touch) good clean shower and bathroom with small guest attention. . second sink in kids room. Coffee tea tray available. Couldnt find Wifi password. Turned out it was written on a very small piece of paper ( like gumwrapper size) in front of the tv. Dogs are welcome too.Double opened doors to spacious balcony . Watch with kids if they can not open it) Decent breakfast with fruits yoghurts buns. Bacharach downtown 5 minute walk. Watch with traffic some drive fast especially at night a lot of crazy fast people driving. They don’t see you in time.Side note: FUSSY neighbor!There is a seating area right below the my balcony in front of the hotel. Two elderly men were softly conversing and I barely heard their voices at all . I was right above. This guy across the street ran out with a big flashlight shining in their face yelling that “some people need to work in the morning” basically in a rude rude way telling them to shut the f up and go away. I was somewhat perplexed because I have sensitive ears and I could not hear them. It was very dimmed mumbling just above whispering. The rudeness struck me. And looking at the clock 21:50 in high season. So better not talk after 21:00 in front of the hotel or balconyPlus side: fresh clean rooms, friendly owner, clean bathroom with hairdryer and attention, short walk to downtown Bacharach.Cons:One big one:No fire warning system inside the rooms. Nor a fire escape stairs. Everything is wooden even ceiling. It will light up like a tinderbox and with no warning or escape..definitely needs improvementSmall suggestions: tape wifi on a larger piece of paper on a mirror or cabinet. Internet is a pain in that areaCheck toastbread before serving. I had one with mold .All together a good establishment and could be excellent when above points get resolved

Unfortunately, the bathroom and toilet are NOT in the room but in the stairwell a few steps away. In room number 1 there is a sink, a kettle and a nice balcony as well as a double bed and a large closet. There are enough sockets and a hairdryer. So perfectly equipped for me. It is about 800m to the beautiful town on the banks of the Rhine. There is a fridge in the breakfast room with a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices, wonderful in the summer!

15 minute slightly uphill walk from train station, ( you could get a taxi), comfortable room/bed. Owner/operator very pleasant and welcoming, balcony unit nice and relaxing.lots of short/ long walks close by. Bike rental 15 minute walk from Winzerhaas.

On my bike tour between Mainz and Koblenz, I ended up at the Winzerhaus in Bacharach and received a very friendly welcome from the owner couple.My e-bike was safely stored in a garage and could be charged.I was put up in a twin room because there were no single rooms left.My room had a small balcony, was big enough and had everything you needed - above all, it was very clean.Private bathroom with shower.There was even a kettle with tea/coffee in the room. There is also a refrigerator in the breakfast room with drinks and sweets for self-service and payment is made upon departure.The breakfast was rich, tasty and lovingly prepared.Only cash payment is possible on site.Price-performance ratio fits - it met my expectations.If you are looking for a positive, friendly but also quiet place where you can sleep well, then you have come to the right place.I'd love to come back.
