The Felshof is beautifully surrounded by vineyards. The Wenninger family takes great care of their guests, starting with a welcome Prosecco to the wonderful breakfast buffet. We can definitely recommend the Felshof highly.

We went to the winery for country fun with the motorhome. When we read the other reviews, it's a shame that we didn't meet the "friendly" Ms. Wenninger. Mr. Wenninger seemed pretty annoyed when we asked about a wine tasting. That's why we only bought two bottles. We know many wineries in Franconia (we are from the region ourselves) that are much friendlier.

The Felshof offers first-class accommodation, great breakfasts and super friendly hosts. You have absolute peace and really come away from stress.All guests are offered the opportunity to wine taste. In the morning at breakfast you quickly start talking to other guests. The town of Sommerhausen offers very nice restaurants. There is something for everyone. We would love to come back to the Felshof

Very good producer with fine wines and brandies. The Wenninger couple really look after their guests with passion and outstanding friendliness. A special highlight is the breakfast, which leaves nothing to be desired and, when the weather is good, can be enjoyed on the terrace surrounded by roses with a view of the vineyards. The house itself is a few minutes uphill from the actual village and requires evening fitness training. But that's actually another plus point with the sumptuous Franconian cuisine. The rooms are spacious, practically furnished and spotlessly clean. Everything is great!

Charming winery with a small guesthouse, the Felshof is located in the middle of the vineyards and is only a few minutes away from the small, pleasant town of Sommerhausen. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast is delicious and the hosts are very friendly. A wine tasting is particularly recommended; both the explanations and the wines themselves are great.

We felt very comfortable and in good hands here. Ms. Wenninger is the flywheel of the family and always strives for the well-being of her guests. She literally reads her guests' wishes from their eyes and the house, the rooms and the delicious breakfast leave nothing to be desired. We were welcomed so warmly, Ms. Wenninger is such a warm-hearted woman, we immediately felt at home. The wine tasting with Mr. Wenninger was a lot of fun, entertaining and informative. And.. most importantly.. the wine is fantastic!!! The trunk was well filled as we continued our journey 😉👍. The room was very spacious, with a balcony and a large bathroom. The recommendation to stop at the “Ochsen” for the evening in Sommerhausen can only be passed on. Mrs. Wenninger had provided a goodnight drink. The breakfast was varied and very tasty, the homemade wine jelly was so delicious. All in all, thank you very much, we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back!

We were guests in the apartment for four days and felt completely comfortable. A nice selection at the breakfast buffet, including sausages and cheeses that change daily, and a friendly hostess who also has good tips for excursions, etc. Both the apartment and the double rooms (we had them shown to us) are very spacious, the beds are comfortable and king-size - and everything is spotlessly clean and well-kept. The location is quiet, it takes about 15 - 20 minutes to walk into town, and we always had a good meal in the restaurant there. The Felshof Secco - white as well as rose - is delicious and we took some home with us. We would like to come a second time to explore the beautiful Main Franconia even more and to have a good time at the Felshof. Many greetings from Ina R. and Siegfried J.

The short stay at the winery left us wanting more! We want to come back. The location is wonderful, the wine is delicious. Everything was perfect: the room was very nice and very clean, the breakfast was delicious, the Wenninger family was really nice and accommodating. Thank you very much!!

In this house you feel comfortable and well looked after from the first moment. The winemaking family is incredibly nice and constantly tries to make it as pleasant as possible. The rooms are very hygienically clean and comfortably furnished. Nothing is missing. The welcome with a welcome sip of frizzante was very warm. We will be very happy to come back.

Very friendly and familiar staff. Fantastic location with a view of the vineyards and very nice rooms! Here you can really relax and take nice long walks. If you are looking for relaxation and peace, you have come to the right place! We will be back.
