We visited the café with the family because I had already been here once during the GDR era. I definitely liked it better before. The ice cream sundaes are incredibly expensive and for the children's ice cream we only wanted 2x strawberry instead of the specified vanilla and strawberry balls, which meant a surcharge of 50 cents on the already not cheap ice cream sundaes. There are 2 stars only for the great location and the ambience; otherwise I was pretty disappointed.

The place is easy to find and the rooms are finely prepared and decorated, but if the two of you want to share a pot of coffee, you only get one CUP. We then asked for a second one, which the waitress quickly agreed to. The boss, however, explained to us that it wasn't just possible and we had to take an extra cup of coffee. You rarely experience a kindergarten like this.

Great lunch, the asparagus with homemade hollondaise was very tasty and the chicken breast with it was great. Everything freshly prepared👍Service was courteous and friendly 😊 even our little one was served like a big one and was very proud.We went back straight away for vespers. The cake was amazing 😋. Prices are justified because after a nice chat with the owner couple it became clear that the lady of the house makes the tarts, cakes, pastries and the stollen herself in the bakery.Really handmade and not mass-produced 👍, we like it very much, it just costs a euro more.At the bakery at home I also pay €1.85 for a mini piece of dry streusel cake without service in a café.We'd love to come back. 😃

If you, as a grandparent with a 7-year-old grandchild, would like to eat and drink something in the winter garden...nothing!Only allowed for children aged 10 and over...ridiculous. We've never experienced anything like this before, and we travel very often! Luckily, this formerly best café in town has very nice and friendly competitors, where we were treated very well after this failure!!! By the way, our grandchild was very confused, he thought he had done something wrong. My opinion.....avoid the restaurant if there are children with you.

Service and ambience great. Prices for certain dishes are too high, so that the final bill adds up a lot - which then CANNOT be paid with a debit card or anything else. CASH PAYMENT ONLY possible, this is advertised everywhere in the store. Due to this circumstance and others - personal taste/pet, we will not be visiting this location again.
