I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel “Der Heidehof” in Gaimersheim and was completely thrilled. The rooms are spacious, stylishly furnished and offer all the comfort you could wish for. I particularly liked the quiet atmosphere - ideal for relaxing after a long day.The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. From reception to the restaurant – every employee always tried to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast buffet was rich and offered a great selection of fresh and regional products. Dinner in the restaurant was also a culinary highlight. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring both Ingolstadt and the beautiful surrounding area. If you are looking for relaxation, the spacious wellness area is the right place for you. The spa area is modern and offers everything you need to switch off.All in all, a great stay – I would love to come back and can only recommend the Hotel “Der Heidehof”!

The spa was beautiful and relaxing, but the water was too cold. I also found it too cold in the room and you couldn't make it any warmer. The bathtub that you had to shower in was very slippery. The breakfast was very, very tasty. The bartender at the bar was quite unfriendly, otherwise the staff was very nice.

Rooms are very clean and sufficiently large. Beds in order. Safe is not available.Bathroom is also fine except that you cannot hold yourself in the shower. Not recommended for older people.Staff are very friendly and helpful. The morning buffet is an absolute winner. Everything is available.Unfortunately, the wellness is something else. The connecting stairs from the swimming pool to the saunas are mirror-smooth. One must be very careful and hold on tight. It can't be that difficult to apply an anti-slip layer!Only during my stay there of a few hours did I see 2 people fall. The floor in the area where the swimming pool is is also very slippery. There is no way to hold on if you want to enter the pool. Very dangerous for children and the elderly. It is also a big question mark whether the saunas and other facilities that are separate from the swimming pool are a nude zone or not. If you sit naked in the sauna, people come in and advertise that you are sitting naked. If you put on a swimsuit, others will tell you that you are not naked. Can you please state that CLEARLY?There were also several things that were simply defective. Such as different smells in the steam bath, the other sauna where you could breathe in moist salt air, so to speak. (I don't know what this sauna is called now. There was also no supervisor anywhere to report it to.In general, nice hotel where I would like to come back.

Unfortunately I don't get any recommendations! A hotel with a large wellness area, which is unfortunately getting old. Much better on the website than in reality. Check-in was very friendly and quick. In the room there are bathrobes and a bag with 2 shower towels for the wellness area - several towels would be useful. You should definitely not wear the hotel slippers that are also provided in the spa area -> very slippery, some hotel guests have fallen down the stairs there. The bio sauna offers space for 4 people. In the sauna area there is a relaxation area with 4 stone loungers + 2 normal loungers. Otherwise there are additional loungers available in the swimming pool (very noisy there). Half board was booked, which was fine on the first day. The refreshing, honest female service staff was very friendly and competent! Unfortunately, dinner on the second day was a disappointment. An event was taking place in the hotel and a bus tour company was also hosting, so that the hotel guests had to wait an hour between soup and salad... the entire duration of the dinner was more than 2 hours -> unreasonable! Another word about the rooms: The bathroom would benefit from a renovation. The faucet is scratched and worn, the shower hose is too short for relaxed hair washing, the shower head has seen better days, as has the towel heater. In this respect, there is no relationship between price and performance.

The owner was a racist person with terrible staff treatment, I walked in on a staff member who was crying because she got berated by the boss, I don't advise anyone to come here, and definitely don't go to the spa because of the creepy manager there.Never coming here again

Instagram:ela_andre_on_tourThis time there were four of us girls, three of us had been there at least 15 times. This time it was my 17th stay. We actually love it there although we have a lot to complain about but it's somehow like coming home and that's why we don't do that. We know it and that's why we don't need to book it. We were happy that a few employees are still there, the food is still so delicious and the breakfast is so generous 🫶🏻Maybe see you soon and thank you for the relaxing weekend 🫶🏻

I booked a wellness package with my girlfriend for a weekend. My conclusion is rather mixed and with mixed feelings. I'll start with the reception. We weren't given a very warm welcome but were processed rather quickly. We disturbed the receptionist during a private conversation. I had a premium single room, which was absolutely spotless and clean. I felt extremely comfortable and slept excellently. I personally really liked and enjoyed the restaurant and the food (half board)! The presentation was also upscale. Unfortunately there was only one fully trained waiter. All the other waiters were trainees, some of whom did not speak German, as the main waiter himself told us, as an apology, because my girlfriend mentioned several times (at check-in, in advance by email, when ordering AND when serving) that she cannot tolerate lactose . Despite everything, she was served and ate a dish containing lactose. There was a cola on the house. The Farmbeauty was extremely well organized and the 2 ladies were excellent with our treatments. Big praise here. The breakfast offering was very good! Only the employees didn't speak German... But now comes my personal drama. Shortly after checking in, I slipped on the stairs in the outdoor pool. I suffered a large hematoma in my upper arm as well as a torn capsule on my finger and several bruises. Of course I couldn't use the sauna because the bruises were extremely swollen. I had to seek medical attention and am still suffering from the effects of my injuries a week later. The staff provided me with ice on site. Here too I would have liked an apology. I watched people these days. The next day, another guest injured herself so badly when she slipped that the ambulance had to take her to the hospital. In my opinion, the duty to ensure traffic safety was extremely violated here. The pools don't have a single handrail. There are also no signs at all that point out the danger of slipping. Furthermore, the stairs in the pool are not coated or roughened and are mirror-smooth. I will not visit the hotel again. Of course, I have personally reported the grievances regarding traffic safety and I sincerely hope that they will be implemented.M. Karderini
