A great place for children and youth groups or even for families.Everything you need is here:A beautiful building with a great view.Full board, freshly prepared by the kitchen.Staff available at any time.There are also prayer and seminar rooms including a flipchart, projector and audio system.

Göthe would have written here: OverbearingA youth hostel that deserves 5 stars. Big praise and thanks to the very accommodating management and, above all, to the great kitchen. The rooms are clean and spacious, the view high over Eisenach is beautiful, the seminar/group rooms are functional and yet comfortable. We felt very well looked after during the 5 days of preparation. Highly recommended

At the beginning of September we occupied the entire house with our extended family and friends to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary.Everyone was totally thrilled by the house, its ambience, its team, the lovingly and creatively prepared banquet - in short: the party will remain in good memories for everyone! I was able to stay in this clean and beautifully located hostel for 4 days. The peace and quiet that this place offers and the wonderful view give you the feeling of being enthroned above Eisenach. The very friendly house management and team accompanied the stay perfectly and spoiled us with delicious food. I'd love to come back!

Good clean wet room with soap without a hairdryer. Very friendly staff. Great cuisine, really tasty. Keyless locking function on all locks. Balconies and fantastic views. The access is uphill.

Very beautiful half-timbered house that also impresses inside!The rooms with private bathrooms leave nothing to be desired.Very friendly and extremely committed staff.Higher up you have a great view over Eisenach. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to maintenance.Had a great time there and I can only recommend it!

A super nice and courteous staff. There was nothing missing.The house is located between the valley (Eisenach) and the Wartburg and has a wonderful view. It was a great week and we bikers would love to come back 👍

We were at the youth education center with a choir school. We really enjoyed the wonderful facilities, the warmth of the staff, the good food and the location. We come here regularly with confirmation candidates and other community groups because we feel like we are in such good hands with Mr. Thönert and his crew.

We were in the "Junker Jörg" with a school class and both the students and the teachers were all very satisfied and impressed with the beautiful house. The staff was very courteous and helpful, the rooms were nice and clean, the food was tasty and more than sufficient. The price/performance ratio is very good. We'd love to come back.

Very friendly and courteous employees pampered us on our school trip. Our individual food wishes and needs were always taken into account. The food was very tasty and filling. The rooms are large and practical. The climb to the house is indeed a challenge, but one that is still manageable. The view is magnificent and the surroundings are beautiful.We'd love to come back.

Bad food, mold in the showers and you feel like you have to climb Mount Everest every time to get up there. The heating was broken and there was mold in the showers

I was here with my ethics/religion group and I was very excited. You have a beautiful view and we were served very well and individually by the hostel manager and the kitchen. I remember feeling a bit unwell and the nice gentleman from the kitchen warmed me up with a grain pillow. There was also nothing to complain about in terms of the equipment. The heating worked, the bathroom was clean and the rooms were okay too. I would definitely come again!
