We went to this restaurant for lunch for the first time. The route takes some getting used to because you don't expect such a long drive through nowhere. At the end you will be rewarded with a quiet, pleasant place on the terrace with a great view. The food was very good and plentiful, the staff was courteous and extremely friendly, the tables and the sanitary facilities were very clean. I would like to see a few more dishes on the menu to choose from. I can highly recommend this restaurant. Price-performance ratio is completely fine.

Old-school hotel in a unique location!Very tasty food and very friendly service. Rooms are a bit outdated but very clean and have everything you need! + our motorcycles are safe 👍🏼

Were here today August 4th, 2024, great view and if you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the right place for you. Warm food is available until 7 p.m. I ate cheese spaetzle very tasty, my husband schnitzel Viennese style😋. The innkeeper and the waiter were very friendly. We recommend. 👍👍👍👍

Hotel in the heart of the black forest, away from traffic and immersed in the woods. Very hospitable and helpful owners. They helped us with the electric bikes, offering charging and a safe place for the night. Simple restaurant and breakfast service.

We two friends received a warm welcome. What was particularly surprising was the private bathroom in the room, good mattresses and everything was clean. Thanks to the laptop provided, we were even able to watch the European Football Championship final. Many thanks to the couple for the lovely stay in the middle of beautiful nature! It was pleasantly quiet in the house.

The perfect stopover for our hike! In the middle of the forest — the nearest house is 8 km away. We also stayed here and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thanks to the hospitality of the owner couple, we felt very comfortable. The food was also very good! The apple strudel is particularly recommended! The rooms were equipped with everything you could need. Shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom would be a great add-on. But otherwise everything was great!

We did eat there, I have to say, we didn't eat that well, the conditions were nice and friendly, but back to the food, it was overpriced at 21.90 for a fermented cordon bleu that was still stuffed with bacon, I ordered pork liver, and served 3 pieces of liver with as many onions on top, and fried potatoes, 1 beer plus white wine 47.10 euros and after 6 hours it's still bothering me, never again, for that money I can eat in any city and not on a trip around the world .
