We are currently spending a wonderful weekend here. A beautiful hotel with typical charm. A very rustic atmosphere, whether in the hotel room or in the guest room. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is wonderful. Breakfast and the dinner menu leave nothing to be desired. We feel very comfortable here and would come back at any time.

In the middle of the city, a beautiful old quaint building, with an inviting menu! Unfortunately, the food was a disaster as we were really expecting simple, well-made home cooking!However, if you like flavor enhancers, ready-made sauces, meat that tastes like it's in the freezer and sugary flavors, you're in good hands! We handed the plates, which were 2/3 full, to the counter ourselves and paid for them; no one cared whether they tasted good! But the potatoes were good!!!! ;-)So clearly not recommended for eating!

Nice little hotel in historic Stolberg. Old walls with the appropriate flair. Service is very friendly and attentive. A small note, the packed lunch included in the booking was very clear. One roll was covered with too much butter, cheese and thick slices of sausage, that would have easily been enough for two rolls.

Very good cuisine and attentive, friendly service! Small portions, no problem! You can enjoy cozy, German, wild and Harz as well as Stolberg dishes here!!! German hospitality and good cuisine are at home here!

A beautiful house! Lovely to look at from the outside.Unfortunately this charm doesn't continue inside, boring guest room, a shame.Food was great.Service yeah... there's still something going on.I can't rate the hotel.P.S.It would be good if the steps were color coded.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a cozy atmosphere. It is an old half-timbered house. The breakfast is not very extensive, but fresh and tasty. We just weren't really impressed with the restaurant that came with it.

We spontaneously went here for dinner, also because of the good reviews. Very rustic furnishings. We took a seat outside in the small beer garden. There are 2-3 tables here, unfortunately everything is a bit bare but it's a better option for us given the temperatures. There was also activity inside. Service took a while and unfortunately wasn't very motivated. Somehow we had the feeling that we were intruding. Maybe because the ways out were a little longer. Service seemed impatient and slightly sloppy. The food was good, spring schnitzel was very tasty. Draft beer was good too. Prices are humane. If the staff has a good day, you can definitely come here without any worries. However, one last little thing: the windows to the kitchen were always open and unfortunately not all of them had insect protection.

We had dinner here. So we can't say anything about the hotel. The food was delicious, the beer too and the service was also very nice. We sat outside, there was only one service inside and outside that evening. Nevertheless, everything worked out very well. Gladly again.
