A small oasis of a historic hotel in the middle of an old idyllic town in the heart of the Harz. From here, it is not far to div. Tourist attractions.

Perfect accommodation, although it is right on the main road, very quiet - even at night!). Very nice staff, nice room, great breakfast (both served at the table and in buffet form), delicious food in the restaurant in the evening, very good starting point for hikes, as the bus (free with the guest card) stops right in front of the door.

We stayed in the Little Dresser for a week in September. Our room was huge, well equipped and clean. The breakfast, served at the table, blew us away (prepared very nicely) and the dinner tasted great. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really cozy and the owner is very friendly. We also felt completely welcome with 2 dogs.

A beautiful restaurant furnished and designed with a lot of heart and taste. Very friendly and really pleasant staff, not only did we eat really well, we felt very comfortable. And as already mentioned, excellent cuisine! We would love to come back with friends!

Very friendly and personable staff.The rooms are fully equipped and clean.Good beds. Very nice,prepared with loveBreakfast, the menu is also extensive and the dishes are good.Is a good starting point for hikes.Any time.

a real gem in Zorge, something you wouldn't expect here, the furnishings are simply lovely and the food is always delicious, there's nothing to complain about, hopefully your Zorge stays with you for a long time. Room rating not possible because “only” to eat there

We stayed in the "Little Chest of Drawers" from Wednesday to Sunday for a hiking holiday.The inn is located on the main street of Zorge and is a great starting point for long hikes through intact forests.We had a great large double room with a new bathroom.The breakfast was very varied for such a small inn and nothing was missing. We also dined in the in-house restaurant on three evenings. The food was very excellent. We always enjoyed it very much. The service was always perfect too.We would particularly like to mention the owners of the small chest of drawers. The couple/family have been running the inn for about 2 years now and are always there for their guests with heart and soul. - The sentence fits here: You come as a guest and leave as a friend.

Went to dinner in the small dresser for the second time.The service was great, absolutely quick, friendly and in the mood to joke.You definitely had the feeling that you had fun working here.Starter was really tasty and there was a lot. The main course also came quickly and tasted great. The little greeting from the kitchen was also delicious and absolutely garlicky😅We will definitely be back and absolutely cannot understand the negative entry in the reviews...You should always keep in mind that when it calls into the forest, it echoes back...

Nice little restaurant with lots of details in the dining room. A bit wild combination but seems to come from the heart. We immediately felt comfortable and actually enjoyed the little crocheted towels in the bread basket.

An inn in the good sense. Family run with great service and passion and above all an idea of hospitality and good food. Beautiful rooms, excellent beds. The dinner: brawn, especially the salad and the fried potatoes were a treat and the end with a whiskey from the local distillery

We went there for breakfast with 6 people, I can only recommend it, nothing was missing. A day later for dinner, great service, great food, animals welcome. We felt very comfortable with you 👍👍👍

A 10 out of 10.The ambience, the service and the food all in all were a perfect combination. All dishes, whether starter or main course, were on point. We didn't have to wait long and the staff was super attentive. I had a steak that was cooked to perfection and tasted really tasty. Starter was a mushroom soup “WoW” which was so fresh and delicious. The other dishes we ordered at the table were exactly as they should be. So we'll definitely be back ;)

Went there for dinner after our vacation arrival. We were told to make a reservation, but the restaurant wasn't well attended all week... the facilities and ambience were great. However, the food was very bad and way overpriced. I had duck breast with red cabbage and croquettes...the beer sauce and the red cabbage were inedible. Half the plate alone was full of red cabbage. Four mini croquettes and a piece of meat (about 5 cm sliced). As compensation I was given a cappuccino, which unfortunately you couldn't really drink either. The dish was collected in full (€25). Service was visibly very annoyed right from the start, the beach chair in the outdoor area was completely covered in wasps...eating outside was not possible.Personally, I cannot recommend it and will not dine there again.
