The campsite kiosk is always worth a visit. Delicious tea from the samovar, beautiful postcards, nice conversations with campers and guests, relaxed atmosphere and a great view. Simply a beautiful place. After the change of tenant, unfortunately there was rarely any cake...and...the feeling of being a nuisance as a guest...

Very nice, natural campsite with very nice people. It's very secluded but there is direct access to the beach and a kiosk with everything you need. Be sure to organize luggage transport from the port (45min walk!)

A beautiful campsite with a really nice view of the island and the Spiekerooger harbor. It is very natural, it almost seems as if you could just put your tent somewhere in the dunes. There is no electricity in the tent itself and you have to be prepared for storms. (Take a solar cell or power bank with you, a stormproof tent should be a given)One of the most beautiful campsites in the world!

Unfriendly staff who think they are number 1 on the island chain 👎. They are nothing compared to Fehmarn. Now only Heiligenhafen, Fehmarn and East Holstein in general.👍

Very beautiful, natural campsite directly behind the dunes by the sea. The people on site were incredibly friendly and helpful; we have rarely experienced such a great community among the campers. Lockers with electricity and a small shop provides you with the essentials right on site. The only thing that struck me as slightly negative was that there was only one sanitary facility on the entire site, which unfortunately didn't seem to be cleaned all the time.

The place is really beautiful, but very crowded and a real idyll is hardly possible in the high season. It must be clear that there are mosquitoes and horseflies, Autan helps. The place is a bit out of the way, which wouldn't be a problem if the often unfriendly staff in the store tried a little harder. Nobody likes to be shouted at or simply left at the counter without comment. You can only afford this because there is no other grocery store in the immediate vicinity. Maybe regular guests are treated more friendly.

To be honest, I saw Norderney, Borkum and Langeoog. This year we actually wanted to go to Spiekeroog at the end of the summer but as boldly as they immediately brushed us off with the words we're full and have no room 🤷 didn't even ask when or well understand we're going to another island But that was a bit of freedom. I don't think there will be so much going on at the end of the session that there won't be space for 1 tent for 2, I'm happy! Should be my penultimate North Sea island soon! We jump over an island and go camping but just because of some stupid statement we are crazy, we have no space 🤷 anyone who knows how Google map works is clearly at an advantage now I know next year towards Sylt so East Sea North Sea we are through!!!
