We didn't have an overnight stay.Therefore we cannot judge the rooms.We only went to the beer garden to eat in the evening.After we didn't get our desired meal the evening before, we ordered for the other evening.We got the food we ordered. It was so delicious. The boss is super nice. There was nothing to complain about.Hats off to what she accomplished...The beer garden 1 A with old trees, right by the water, invites you to linger.We'll be back next year.Thank you for a nice evening

It's always worth stopping here. No matter whether by bike, by car or by watercraft. There is a harbor for mooring. The menu is really well adapted to the region. Food prices average 10 to 16 euros. Beer 4 euros.Update August 30, 2024There seem to be new owners here.No service, you have to pick up your own food and the portions are very, very small.Unfortunately no longer recommended.

The pizza was obviously a ready-made pizza from the freezer and didn't deserve the name pizza at all. I once ate a real Margherita at the pizza world champion Capuano in Berlin for €11. To charge €8.50 for the ready-made product is an absolute disgrace, especially since you have to order the pizza at the counter and pick it up yourself.

We recently stayed at the hotel. Luckily only one night. Completely overpriced for the service. Very little breakfast with hard rolls. There is no invoice. We weren't even asked our names.We should pay tourist tax without getting anything in our hands. This is probably how you pocket the money. This is not an advertisement for this beautiful region.Absolutely not recommended.

Went just to drink in the beer garden. Unfortunately, the whole property seems very run down, although there is potential. The half beer was clearly too expensive for me, the apple spritzer would actually have been cheaper if sensible apple juice had been used. Here, however, the wine is poured from the 1.5l discount bottle. The coffee was fine. The lady behind the bar (owner?) wasn't particularly friendly, but the children were.

A large, long-planned family meeting had to be canceled shortly before it began due to excessive cost demands. Hotel management is unreliable. The hotel is not recommended.

Visited there today with a group of four. The location is quite good and not overcrowded. The prices for the food varied greatly. Bratwurst 5€ was very expensive compared to other restaurants. The main meals, on the other hand, were very passable. In the end the portions were incredibly small. My wife had a child's portion of pasta with tomato sauce and had to take it twice as an adult. At the end a child asked for dessert. The owner was also very unreasonable with the criticism.Conclusion...it's better to continue rowing and look for the next port of call. There's enough there.

No card payment, invoice on piece of paper or receipt pad. We were there for 5 days, the staff/boss is overwhelmed. In the evening there was frozen pizza. Best to eat somewhere else! We felt unwelcome there.

Actually zero stars. Unfriendliness is very important here. We actually wanted to have lunch here during our paddling tour, but ended up in the "wrong spot of the bar". We were then told in an extremely unfriendly manner where we should stand if we wanted to order. There was no relent from the staff. We left the restaurant immediately.

When we arrived later, around 6:45 p.m., the room wasn't ready, there was no offer for a drink (it was very warm). Instead, we asked directly whether we would like something to eat. The menu was on the counter and people ordered directly from there. Order on paper, abbreviations don't seem to be common. We took a seat in the shady beer garden with a direct view of the river. After a short time our order came, the portion was manageable and overpriced. It's also a shame that the well-known dishes and groceries typical of the Spreewald couldn't be found on the menu. There was no question as to whether there was anything else or no information about the opening times of the restaurant/bar. There was also no notice about this. Invoice paid directly, without receipt, no card payment possible. As a guest with time on vacation, you should go to the nearest town and find a bank to withdraw money. Room still not ready... ..instead of explanations. After a short tour around the area, we were given a room (small, gray and outdated furniture). This was then exchanged without any major problems. There were glasses in the room, no water bottle, no hairdryer, no shower mat, just a small cosmetic bin in the bathroom. We were able to sleep well and very quietly. Breakfast the next morning from 8 a.m. When we arrived there was no smell of rolls or eggs. The buffet wasn't ready yet ..........no apology/information for us guests. On the contrary, when everyone had their breakfast after waiting at some point, the boss checked and commented on what quantity was supposedly distorted. She doesn't seem to be familiar with the fact that partners help each other. Instead, as a guest, you are served accusations without being asked, and the feeling of being welcome gradually disappears.So, despite all my understanding of the difficult situation facing hotels and restaurateurs, I am shocked by the way the operators there operate. I don't find it appreciative and on an equal footing that the guest gets the feeling that they're not really welcome, that they're welcomed and listened to with their wishes.The guest can't do anything about the size of the hotel and the lack of staff! You only pay for the booked service and if you don't get fresh food for it, the guest can decide for himself where he wants to spend his money..........That's called competition, free choice of service provider?!Luckily for the industry, in picturesque Leipe there are restaurateurs and service providers who welcomed us and treated us appreciatively as guests.Conclusion: It's a shame for this great house

If you have a lot of time, want to pay a lot for cheap snacks, have little on your plate and want to get everything yourself: you've come to the right place!A look into the kitchen showed overwhelmed people. The microwave was the best employee here and worked precisely to the second.

We stopped in for lunch and were extremely disappointed. Much of the lunch menu was sold out.Ordered quark and potatoes, pizza and cucumber salad. Mini portions at high prices, very poor quality.We asked the landlord about the mini portions, and then the landlady from the kitchen complained that we should eat somewhere else.No guest is welcome here.
