Were there with several classes. Very nicely located and there was no boredom for the children. Football pitch, table tennis indoors and outdoors. Food was good.

Experience from July 7th, 2024:Very unfriendly employee in the parking lot, who did not want to respond to a greeting in the form of "Hello" or "Good day" even after being pointed out.When asked whether it was possible to drive this route to the calcium source, the gentleman responded with ignorance. The request to answer the question was apparently met with “skin off.”The background was a planned visit to the calcium spring. A colleague told me that you could drive there. Google Maps showed a route on which you can pass the grounds of the Friends of Nature House by car.I hope the other employees are friendlier.

We were there for the final trip with the 4th grade. And what can I say, the price-performance ratio there is great. The staff is amazing. No matter what it was, people were helped: informed and really cared for. The service there is perfect. The hostel can be reached on foot from the bus stop in 10 minutes. The whole area is ideal for hiking and exploring. The program that is offered to you is great.

We had a great first class trip here. We arrived with four fifth-graders. From start to finish we felt very comfortable. The location and the house itself are great. Food was very tasty. The supervisor bar is a great gadget. We will definitely recommend this arrangement to others.

Bad business practices! The managing director canceled our binding booking (1 year in advance for 2024) for our group of 20 participants against our will because he would rather rent it to a larger group. This is what greed looks like! 😡🤥🤮

We had a wonderful 2nd class school trip in the Harz with the Naturfreundehaus Stecklenberg! Everything was super organized and just great :) We also had a great child-friendly tour of Quedlinburg with Mr. Meie.Thank you for everything! The great memories last forever ☀️

I just walked past... on September 4th. around 8.30 p.m., but a huge campfire was burned next to the hotel in the forest and at the Brocken the fire brigade was fighting a forest fire with all its might since midday.. that can't be surpassed in terms of ignorance

We were there at Pentecost for a family reunion.Half board.Room ok, the beds in our room were wide enough. In other rooms, beds are too short and too narrow (approx. 90cm).Breakfast was good. Staff mostly cooperative.Dinner was unimaginative.I found it disappointing to hand out pasta with tomato sauce on a Pentecost Sunday.The location is top!! In the middle of the woods. You could go hiking straight away.Unfortunately there is no playground for children, so you would have to drive a bit.

The helpful, friendly management, the friendly kitchen staff, the practical equipment, the good sports facilities, the spacious fireplace and the excellent location on the edge of the forest and near the two castle ruins are all to be praised. This is an ideal location for school trips. Thank you very much for the wonderful time!
