Incomprehensible. We travel a lot, but nothing like this has ever happened to us.Arrived, no one was there, called, was quickly given a code and that was it.No welcome, no products as written on the homepage, he wouldn't have time for breakfast because of the harvest (which is understandable, but then you don't advertise it or rent it out during that time).Didn't even see him, left a note down, ignored him. The bathroom window couldn't be opened because it was broken and you almost died in it from the heat.Glasses etc from the previous visitor still on the chair etc.We canceled the vacation after one day because it had nothing to do with a vacation on a farm and we weren't even asked why we were leaving.Impossible and definitely never again.

I gave my boyfriend the cow cuddle as a gift for his birthday last September and we were both thrilled!At first we couldn't really imagine anything about it, but we were pleasantly surprised by a lot of love and warmth as well as information about working with the cows! We were allowed to go into the milking parlor and milk the cows, into the stable and then cuddle with the cows!We were also allowed to help feed the calves and then go into the calf stable.The experience was wonderful and very insightful and we would recommend everyone to have this experience with Bernd!A big thank you for the great time we were able to spend at the farm.Michelle & Florian from Munich

We were at the Marterer Hof for four days. The Wiesenglück apartment was clean and equipped with everything you need. The hosts were very friendly and provided us with a great and rich breakfast basket. Visiting the stable and petting the calves was the highlight for our daughter. The farm is centrally located and there is a lot to do.

The Schwarzwaldliebe apartment is clean and functionally furnished. The house is in a quiet location. Service is non-existent, no regional products, we didn't even get to know the owners, no welcome and no goodbye, I found that impossible. No cow cuddling, when we asked on the phone we were given wood for a fire.

We stayed here quite spontaneously for a few days! Apartment super equipped and clean! We were there with 2 adults, 2 children and a dog. Great starting point for hiking. Landlord very friendly and accommodating! We'd love to come back!

After 10 days of feeling good in the farm and the surrounding area, we extended our stay in Oberhepschingen. Mr. Marterer responded very carefully to our questions and requests. Clean and cozy apartment.Cow cuddling was very good. Mr. Marterer spent almost 3 hours with us and answered all our questions and of course petting the cows was great too.🐄🐮

The Wiesen Glück holiday apartment was nice and clean. Mr. Marterer was a very nice host and took a lot of time. The cow cuddling was very informative and interactive. The next morning there was a very generous and delicious breakfast basket.

What was good: The apartment was very spacious. Mr. Marterer was very friendly. The 27km circular route to Bellchen was beautiful and very varied. What was bad: We were not welcomed. The apartment and surrounding area were not explained to us. The offers on the website (stick bread, raclette, breakfast basket, bread roll service) were not available. Cow cuddling was already fully booked. The children were able to go into the stable, but no one was there for one or two hours in the afternoon. The farm holidays I had imagined for the children did not happen. Instead, we sat in the car for at least an hour every day to keep the children entertained. I would therefore not book the apartment again. It was also very expensive for a holiday location without any activities.

Super nice hosts! Completely unproblematic check-in, great service with breakfast basket and bread roll service. The hosts were very accommodating and provided us with restaurant and hiking tips, all of which fully met our expectations.

In short, excellent.Pure nature and peace, OK we're not fans of hiking, but a look at the map will definitely make your heart beat faster. We prefer to get around by car and enjoy the many delightful little things that are not far away in the area. Whether from Freiburg via Basel, even Elsas is certainly not the case at the moment, but that will happen again. There is still plenty here in the Black Forest that is worth exploring. You should be able to take curves a bit, as a tip for flatlanders.A wonderful, uncomplicated, unobtrusive communication, as well as a very rich breakfast with fresh baked goods and eggs from the farm every day, made it easier for us to start the day.Conclusion, we didn't do anything wrong and hope to be able to show up again.I don't need to mention that everything else was great, right?One point worth mentioning that we unfortunately haven't tried out yet is the possibility of using public transport in the entire Black Forest area with the guest card should be made much more widespread.More pictures on Insta #hatfur

The farm tour was a unique experience. The hosts are incredibly friendly and you immediately feel at home. The apartment is cozy and clean. The breakfast was great.
