Our conclusion first and foremost - disappointing!!!Attracted by the mention of it in the Michelin Guide, we booked the nature experience package last weekend full of anticipation.The house is beautifully and lovingly restored and tastefully, stylishly furnished and decorated. Our room was sufficiently large, also lovingly furnished and equipped with a large, new bathroom. So far so good.The first setback awaited us at dinner. We had informed ourselves in advance on the homepage and mostly decided on the “forest walk” (wild).Unfortunately our arrangement included a predetermined menu. This began with an extensive snack, pretzels, ham, various types of cheese, meat loaf, etc., the kind we would have gotten at any halfway ambitious hut in the Allgäu.Michelin???After a middle course of noodles, there was roast pork with a dumpling and cabbage. The roast pork consisted almost entirely of fat and was considered by all of us (four people) to be practically inedible because it contained no meat at all.Michelin???With the serving of Kaiserscharren as dessert, the service, which had not been overly committed until then, was finally discontinued. The hosts spent the next hour and a half at another table with obviously good acquaintances and didn't let us disturb them even when we shouted loudly.The biggest problem came the next day when paying.According to the homepage, the arrangement should be calculated as follows:Nature experience package (1 day): €90/person (large menu, backpack, breakfast) + 1/2 room price per categoryHowever, the full room price was charged.Because, according to the reasoning, the regular accommodation price refers to the night (140 €), but the arrangement price refers to the people. So for two people it's half the room price. Per person! When asked what you would have paid as a single traveler, you were told that the full room price would of course have been due. Although the owner insisted that the presentation on the Internet was unmistakable, the entry on the homepage was changed on the same day. No trace of accommodation.Conclusion: We arrived full of anticipation of a beautiful ambience and culinary delights and were prepared to spend a lot of money for it. The ambience was TOP, the rest was unfortunately very disappointing. We already abandoned the plan to enjoy fine dining there more often on the return journey.

At Michelin, it wasn't enough for one star. From me, there is one now ;-) Just not for food.The operator does not ensure that the opening times are updated on the Internet. And so yesterday at 2 p.m. yesterday we stood in front of the closed door, hungry and after a 45-minute journey.At least they opened the door for us briefly, but only to inform us succinctly and uncomprehendingly that they wouldn't open until the evening.Sorry, but something like that doesn't work. It is a reasonable effort to keep business hours published online up to date...

A cozy, very good restaurant where you can have a delicious, fine meal on special occasions.The food is really good and the atmosphere is rather rustic, but very tasteful and cozy!The owners are super nice and everyone is courteous and polite.The food is in the higher price range, but that is definitely justified.Really something special!We recommend!In the meantime, however, you have to be very lucky to even get a free table when making a reservation, as the restaurant is often already occupied by the in-house guests and sometimes there is no additional capacity for guests from outside.In summer you can treat yourself to lunch in the beer garden. Normally you don't need a reservation. And it's beautiful there too!

We visited the Wirtshausgarten after a bike ride. Very nice garden in green surroundings. The food selection was small. |The food is too expensive even for the portions. A Corizo ​​in a pan with oil for 9 euros? …

The room was newly renovated and furnished with attention to detail. However, some of them are not very functional (e.g. toilet door cannot be closed/only sliding door; table lamp and clock do not work). Our room facing the street was too loud and too small for me. You could hear the music from the restaurant below. The food is good. The service is professional friendly and good overall. In some cases there were waiting times. Prices are high, but appropriate for the food/unfortunately not for the room overall in my opinion.
