Negative:- missing fly screens (lots of insects in midsummer due to the proximity to the lake)- Beds slip apart; annoying when sleeping- You sink too deep in the beds in the lower area; subjective whether you like it or not- lack of fencing around the garden plots; inconvenient with a dog- Long waiting times at receptionBroken toilet lid was charged €30 (insurance?!)Lack of value for money.For us personally, far too expensive for what is offered.Positive:- good parking options- quiet and beautiful surroundings- Close to the lake- Cleanliness

Here you will find nice houses to spend a holiday on Lake Rursee. As of today, the renovation has been completely carried out and my comment from a year ago is no longer valid.But I have been playing here with my tennis group for years.

Fantastic accommodation for a motorcycle tour in the Eifel. We rented a house for four people. Motorcycles could be stored fantastically under the carport of the house and were therefore dry next to the house at night.House was well cleaned and fully equipped, even a balcony!WiFi was also very good and a smartTV with which we could simply watch the European Championship final. Great place to stay for an Eifel motorcycle tour. Motorcycle friendly!

Top location and room layout, deductions for amenities and cleanliness.What we liked:- View of the Rursee- Balcony and terrace- comfortable upholstered furniture- clean, spacious bathrooms- Mattresses are hard, but not saggy- Morning bread service- Dogs allowedWhat definitely needs to be improved:- Cleanliness. The floor in the kitchen-living room and the bedrooms was extremely dirty and the terrace and balcony were full of bird droppings and ash residue. No way to vacuum or wipe briefly yourself.- Service. Before the holiday we had a question - but it was not possible to reach anyone by phone for days. It wasn't clear in the booking confirmation that you had to go to another hotel to check in - you only found out on site.- Equipment. What was missing was a vacuum cleaner, an ashtray for outside, a sieve for draining and a second drying towel. Cutlery is very old and thrown together - there could be a little more attention to detail.- Warmth. The night storage devices are not intuitive to use, they audibly grind away at night and only give off heat when you don't need it - during the day. Modernization would be a plus here.

A very beautifully located holiday park. All houses stand alone. The houses are freshly painted and ours was also completely renovated inside and equipped with new comfortable beds, new furniture and a new kitchen. The beds were made and towels, kitchen towels and toilet paper were in place. The house is cozy with two storage rooms, one directly by the kitchen (optimal) and one upstairs, perhaps for suitcases etc. I also really liked the terrace, which is built high with heavy beams that serve as rain and sun protection. There are tarred paths from the houses to the terrace and the parking lot is directly above in the park. Also a great thing, the house is for four people but you can book the front double room with bathroom, so 6 people can fit. A big thank you to the friendly staff. We had a very nice time. The location of the complex is simply great and offers many opportunities for various activities. It is within walking distance of the lake and the outdoor swimming pool. If there was a big celebration with friends, the tennis hall was also available all weekend for a small additional charge.We really liked it and would recommend the facility at any time.

We stayed in the super nice and newly renovated house 8. That was also our first use after the construction phase.Very good beds and comfortable bed linen and towels.The kitchen is well equipped.Super clean.The location is perfect, the swimming pool, ice cream parlor, restaurants and jetty are within walking distance.Both by bike and as a hiker you can start right at the house.Very nice landlord.Conclusion: Gladly again

We enjoyed the weekend there with a large group and everything was great. The houses are well equipped and everything is in great condition. The common rooms, including the tennis hall, were available to us throughout and were also in good condition. The surroundings are a dream!

We were part of a large birthday party and stayed in holiday home number 5, which was very well equipped. Everything is newly furnished and everything you need is there. Dogs are also welcome and two bowls were also available. The location is excellent and perfect for a few relaxing days or leisure activities. Canoe and bicycle rentals, a natural swimming pool with beach volleyball and soccer fields are in the immediate vicinity.We'd love to come back!!!!

We celebrated a wonderful family celebration there at Pentecost 2023. All houses were completely renovated and completely modernized in spring 2023. We were basically the first movers. The possibilities in the beautiful surroundings directly on Lake Rursee are wonderful. We were able to discuss all our wishes with the very nice landlord and the also very nice employees from the associated Hotel Paulushof in a friendly atmosphere and all of our requests (drinks, rolls, cold storage, catering as requested) were fully met. Thank you for that. We were also able to make optimal use of the restaurant and the sports fields in the tennis hall (directly on the property) for our purposes. Thanks to good WiFi available throughout the entire site, you can stay connected to the world even in the deep Eifel.We will come again!

Beautiful facility with a view of Lake Rursee. The service from the very friendly staff at the Hotel Paulushof, where you get keys and other things, is first class.Completely in contrast to the state of the interior of the house!Renting a holiday home with such dilapidated furniture (at least 25-30 years old) and incomplete kitchen equipment is, to say the least, an outrage! And this at a price of 211€/day.There were 5 gentlemen staying there, none of whom were particularly demanding or sensitive. I can only strongly advise a family with children not to rent there.

Good place if you're looking to stay in the area. Houses are OK. Although some more cleaning would be needed. The place is located closed to the lake and closed to highway and local transportation. Great place if you want to rest for some days and hace some walk around the area.
