We spent a weekend with our friends on the HOF (13 adults and 7 children)One positive thing to say is that there is a lot of space on the property, we were able to sit together in a large group. The children were able to do their own thing on the property (play football, table tennis, table football) and everything was fine. The kitchen seemed to be new, at least very well equipped but some of it had unclean dishes, that could be checked but actually the guests just need to have a better handle on themselves here. The personal contact was always good, so you can't complain about that.In the evening, however, it ends outside at midnight and no music is allowed to be played after 10:30 p.m. That's OK, you can stay inside then. No children until 8:30 a.m. is difficult, especially with small children, but ours were older so it was fine.Unfortunately there are also negative sides, the condition of the accommodation is in great need of renovation. All 4 families have camping experience so they're definitely not fussy, but the bathrooms with shower curtains (if available at all) leave a lot to be desired. There was also a strong smell coming from the drains in the middle of the bathroom. This is probably due to the infrequent use by guests. You could overlook it, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Endless cobwebs and their inhabitants of all sizes on ceilings, etc. That simply shouldn't be the case and has nothing to do with the outdated furnishings. All in all we had a good time and the size of the property is the advantage here. However, the price is disproportionate to what is on offer, which simply spoils the overall experience.

My review only concerns the communication with the farm - but since this partly didn't work (nothing was received at the email address provided) and, where it was possible, it was quite snooty and condescending, I didn't have it at all just booked.

Positive: everything worked out great with the recommended boat rental. The baker was also very good.Negative: The rest!yard. Every corner is a junk corner (which is glossed over with charm). Very unkempt. There was a 10-week Corona break without guests. In my opinion, the farm is not recommended for children. There are toys lying around, but they are broken. In my opinion there are too many dangerous corners. E.g. a full, unsecured wooden shelf in the yard. The house is shabby and dingy. Dishes, furniture and refrigerator dirty, sticky, disgusting. Mattresses on the floor are sold as beds.Bicycles are offered free of charge. However, each of the 5-7 bikes is junk. There was no (!) bike air either. We got a gas grill. The grill was very dirty. I have rarely seen such a germy grill. When we asked for a gas bottle we were told that the gas function no longer worked. We should use charcoal. You are not allowed to sit outside after 10 p.m. The four of us sat in the yard with no music. That wasn't allowed. So if you like to sit outside on summer nights, you should definitely avoid the yard now.

A very nice farm, nice hosts. We liked the atmosphere and that not everything was perfect everywhere. In contrast to other reviews here, we don't see that it is life-threatening for children, but rather a real paradise where there is a lot to discover. Of course you should supervise them, if only because of the pond.Everything you needed was also available in the house. The bathtub is not usable and some things are already a bit old. Nevertheless, we would book the farm again.

I've been looking at Google reviews for years now and I'm surprised. So different, so kind, so evil. Why is that? An attempt to answer: We almost only have groups. There is always someone who is annoyed. It is a farm from 1790 and two parties live here. There's always a corner that's messy, not perfect. We are not a party farm and have house rules, especially regarding volume, which everyone must adhere to.Anyone who criticizes the price knows nothing about the cost of old houses and the prices in the Spreewald and...we are the only ones for groups in the old town area, within walking distance of all attractions. We have changed and learned a lot over the years. Many photos here no longer correspond to reality. We will continue to improve and hope for fairness, especially here online.

Well, what can you say, after letting the days here sink in a bit, I'm writing this review.Unfortunately it wasn't a vacation. Renting out a holiday resort requires a little more.Cleanliness grade 6Sleeping places grade 6Outdoor facilities (well) not for children. For 4 days we had 2 SMALL towels. The bathtub in the lower area was unusable and the drains were covered with duct tape. The bathtub was totally dirty. The seat cushions in the outdoor area were dirty and broken. Benches threatened to break apart. Screws were sticking out. Mosquito corpses on every wall. Spider webs throughout the house. Everywhere . In every corner. Mattresses were sagging.Price-performance ??? An impudence. Absolutely not justified.Even the friendly welcome from the owner can't save it.Unfortunately not recommended.Anyone who doesn't value any of the above. This is exactly the right place!!!

Unfortunately, this summer farm is anything but recommended. The farm itself was certainly very beautiful and well maintained. In my opinion, the farm is totally dilapidated and has a lot of construction sites. Not suitable for smaller children as there are too many dangers. The cleanliness left something to be desired. Everything in the house was also very dangerous. Sockets, the boiler and other electrical things were open or simply dangerously placed. The kitchen had little to do with a kitchen. There were expired oils on the shelf for over 5 years. It was very dirty and the terrace was uncomfortable. I would definitely not recommend this accommodation.
