We arrived as a family, the room was much too small, hot and dirty, the bed linen smelled and was generally in poor condition.Not recommended.Mold in the shower and refrigerator.Furniture falling apart Pool dirty.Not as shown in the pictures.

I can only agree with the other negative reviews. Tubular steel bunk bed in the kitchen, not even a nightstand let alone a light by the bedFor €200 it's a disgrace

The accommodation was booked for a 2-day visit to Europa Park. The location is great, the rest is a bit of a flop. We didn't have high expectations when visiting Europa Park, just clean rooms. The room and bathroom is dingy and not clean. Based on my review, the host penetrated me over the phone and behaved in an absolutely unprofessional manner (I am not allowed to quote any further details here). We've really never experienced anything like this before. The call was recorded. Absolutely no recommendation.

Our stay was a while ago, 2018 to be precise. At this point I wrote an unfortunately negative review of the guest house Tante Tienchen. Even though this was over 5 years ago, the owner of the accommodation keeps writing to me at irregular intervals asking me to delete my review. I would have committed the following legal violations: insult, slander and slander. I am being threatened with civil damages if I do not delete my review immediately.

We stayed in this guesthouse for one night and published the stay on the website where we also booked the accommodation. The host was very friendly until we said goodbye! Very good host, very rich breakfast buffet, he was always very friendly, the room was wonderful for 1 to 2 nights. We also got a cheap park ticket. We'd love to come back. 7 minutes to the park, you can park your car in front of the house

Last week the four of us stayed in the guest house and met a very friendly and accommodating host who made every effort to meet all requirements.Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the hygienic condition of the accommodation. In our room the chairs and curtains were dirty as was the pad under the mattress.I was bothered by the clogged drain in the shower and that some tiles, for example. on the balcony were broken.The pool was green.The location to the park, about a 10-minute walk, is quite good.We got the tickets for the park cheaper through the host.We won't be coming back again.

Overall the stay was good. The guest room is sufficient for one night. Unfortunately, the bathroom didn't have any decent light. The breakfast and the hospitality were very good and that's why I can recommend the apartment.

Great accommodation: Nice host, great room with balcony, a few minutes walk from the park entrance and a brilliant breakfast! In summer it even has a pool. We will definitely come back, ideally at a time of year when we can still try out the pool!

It's simply one of the best inns where you feel comfortable and can relax, the best view of everything, the perfect location, and from there you also have a wonderful view of the Silverstar roller coaster!!!

Top location. It's really only 7 minutes to the main entrance to Europa Park. Rich breakfast. Freshly made scrambled ice cream. We were able to use the parking lot in the morning even though we didn't check in until the evening. Easily extend your stay.

Get off the worst kind.The main argument of the actually quite friendly host for moving into an apartment or a 15 m² room, also known as a junior suite, in his house seems to be the claim that Europa Park is only a 7-8 minute walk away. This may well be true for the consumer of sophisticated tobacco enjoyment in a fast sprint, as a normal guest with a normal walk it takes about 10 minutes to get to the main entrance.Speaking of tobacco enjoyment:As soon as you enter the non-smoking house "Tante Tienchen", you are greeted by a mixture of cold smoke and stale air that pushes the contents of your stomach up like any roller coaster in the local Europa Park.Aunt Tienchen probably built this country house, which was built in the Mediterranean finca style, to the bourgeois standard of the time, but her nephew unfortunately failed to maintain or improve this standard (except in the financial sector).The furnishings partly have 1970s and flea market charm, and partly they were cobbled together by the owner himself in the traditional Swabian style from inexpensive materials. The tables and benches in the breakfast room were essentially beer sets from the festival tent, covered with fabric or covered with an epoxy resin board. Dusty pictures and cobwebs served as decoration. The bathroom wasn't clean either, dirt accumulated especially on the counters, and the only thing that felt comfortable in the bathtub was mold.At least the bed linen was clean and fresh.From other reviews it appears that the host reacts to criticism in a highly infantile and personally offended manner and adamantly claims that his house is very clean.This is definitely wrong.Furthermore, he repeatedly refers to alleged 5-star reviews from other portals, which he probably either types up, copies or thinks up himself.The outdoor pool was covered in algae and was well on its way to becoming a natural swimming pool; the resourceful Swabian seemed to want to save himself the expensive chlorine for this.The landlord's rabbits, two pitiful creatures, eke out their lives in an approximately 1.5 m² "large" enclosure.After all, outdoors or indoors, sooner or later lung cancer would kill her.I can't judge whether there was enough food.Neither was the breakfast offered for €7. After looking at the worktop and the milk pot that hadn't been cleaned for a long time, I had already eaten for my part.Overall, you can say that a jack-of-all-trades is being milked here,The advantage for the visitor is probably that this house will never be fully booked. However, if there is other accommodation available in Rust and the surrounding area, I would leave it to the undecided guest to choose the second one.
