The beautiful setting, exceptional Portuguese food, excellent wines, and warm hospitality made the day truly special. We were invited to a wedding reception, the ambience was fantastic and the wine (especially the Chardonnay) and the food were excellent. The service staff was without exception friendly and on the ball. Unfortunately we couldn't spend the night there because there were no rooms left.

We really liked it, we sat in the sun on the terrace, were served very nicely, the food came quickly and was very tasty. Yes, the prices are not low, but it was worth the money. Inside, stylish people whose expensive cars were in the parking lot sat eating and drinking. Every seat was taken. The winery is stylish, with a lot of money, taste and love and very stringent. I like it very much, the wine was also delicious, very friendly service with a lot of competence during the tasting. We'd love to come back!

A beautiful facility. When you arrive from the parking lot, the winery looks almost stately. The inner courtyard and the indoor area are beautifully designed and invite you to linger. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve seats outside.The wines are good and the staff friendly. Unfortunately, the staff's knowledge of the wines themselves leaves a lot to be desired. The price-performance ratio of the wines is appropriate. What is not appropriate is the price-performance ratio of the food. Among other things, we had a bowl. The portion was far from enough for an adult and to charge almost 20 euros for a few peas with couscous, spinach and sheep's cheese is harsh... The pinsa was ok, but you can get it much better in other places. The steak was apparently the stated 200 grams. Unfortunately, the outside was a bit dry and fibrous. The truffle fries, which you get for an extra charge, were delicious and the lavender mayo was also delicious. The other people at the table weren't completely impressed with their food either. All in all, I have to say that the food was not convincing, even though the prices would lead you to expect it. Too bad.

We were there for the second time and also for the last time. Unfortunately, on the first visit around 6:30 p.m., the outside terrace was already full. An employee explained to us that it opens at 6 p.m. and you should be there shortly before 6 p.m. to get a seat on the terrace. No sooner said than done. Arrived at 5:50 p.m. in front of the closed gate. Then you can watch from outside as the house guests calmly occupy all the tables and realize that they are left empty-handed. When an employee asked about it, it was more than useless. You are a third class guest if you are not a house guest. Anyone who needs it is welcome to go there and have a demonstration. I am sure that we are not alone in this observation.

So we were there for the second time for an overnight stay and dinner. One of the best hotels we have stayed in so far. Rooms 👌, food 👌, service 👌 and all the staff are very friendly and personable! We'll be back!

A reservation on the terrace is not possible. Visitors gather in front of the entrance gate for half an hour. At 6 p.m. the gate opens and you have to “fight” for one of the few seats. The few tables are designed for several people and usually 2 people take up tables for 5. The staff should ensure order here, but this was not present. And so we unfortunately had to leave again because the arguments over seats were too childish for us.

Actually, that could be the superlative of Location, if the service matched the luxury prices advertised, it would be perfect.Unfortunately this partially fits! for individual employees it doesn't even belong to the segment.Drinks were forgotten, the wines were not known, the daily specials were only mentioned when asked (but then you had to go back to the door to check) and a few other little things.It could have been so good 😕
