We were completely satisfied with the catering at our wedding - the food tasted great & was praised by everyone, was beautifully prepared and the service was super professional and friendly. Despite the difficult conditions on site (no kitchen, etc.), Jochen and his team managed to make the guests and us absolutely happy. Thank you again!

The room here is modern but with rustic charm. But that fits very well. Many old elements have been refurbished and preserved.The food here (I had a daily recommendation). It was very tasty and the service was great. I really enjoy coming back here.

We commissioned Jochen and his team to cater our wedding and would do it again at any time. From the first appointment, to the test meal, to the implementation, everything went really smoothly and perfectly. Jochen put a lot of effort into implementing everything according to our ideas and he immediately found solutions for things that he doesn't normally offer. He always proactively approached us when things were unclear and, with his experience from many other weddings, was always able to give us valuable tips. The service staff was also very competent and friendly. Our guests were consistently enthusiastic about the food, the service and especially the live cooking that Jochen and his team put together. The prices are very transparent and definitely cheap in comparison.It's best to save yourself a lot of conversations, test meals and considerations and call Jochen directly. You can't go wrong with this.

We commissioned the Gasthof zur Krone for our wedding catering. Everything went perfectly and according to our expectations. From planning the food to picking it up, from the utensils provided, everything went smoothly and without any problems. The food was perfect, the staff friendly and accommodating and the price was reasonable.

We were traveling with the bicycle from Frankfurt to Heidelberg through the Odenwald and as this hotel was on our way, we decided to stay here.We arrived on Friday at ca. 9:20 pm, and although the kitchen was already closed, the staff made us two Flammkuchen. As we booked one of their renovated rooms we were very happy with the quality of our room, however the mattress was a bit too hard for both of us.Breakfast was also good and although they did not have a cellar for bicycles the staff kindly arranged a room for our bicycles to be secured.We were very pleased with the price-quality of this Gasthof and will be glad to come back next time a bit earlier to enjoy their probably also delicious food.

We went mountain biking there over the weekend. Great service. Everyone was very relaxed despite the inn being full. Food super delicious! I can fully recommend it without any discount. Great value for money! A small drawback may be the longer waiting time from time to time. But if everything else fits perfectly, you're happy to accept it 😉

The price-performance ratio at the Gasthof Zur Krone was very good: (overnight stay with breakfast per night at a reasonable price of €66.00.The cozy beer garden, where I stayed after a visit to the meadow market in Erbach and a refreshing swim in the Marbach reservoir (at the permitted location), allowed me to look back on the two days with very good beer and very good food.Anyone who does not use room service at the Gasthof Zur Krone will be rewarded with a token for a free drink.Since it was Sunday, there was understandably no room service, even though I made my bed like I did at home.But no drama, the rest of the service predominated, as it says in the story of creationYou shall rest on the seventh day and in the Third CommandmentYou shall sanctify the holiday.Therefore, my big compliments to the team at Gasthof Zur Krone for doing a more than satisfactory performance in the beer garden and a fabulous job for breakfast on Sunday!
