Really lovely campsite in the Peak District. Went in October so there was tons of space, can imagine it might get very busy in the summer. Showers and toilets are nice and very clean - again could be busy in the summer but not in the winter. They have an area to do your washing up, drying clothes, freezer, small shop with some camping supplies. We camped but if glamping is more your style then you can stay in a cabin as well. Was reasonably priced as well.

Decent campsite, friendly management and well kept facilities. There's a reasonable slope to a lot of the fields so pitching tactically is required! Also beware of the midges - bring an insect repellent or nets, in the evening they are really on the rampage (camped in early Sept so may have been peak midge season).

Stayed here for may bank holiday weekend for my birthday with hubby and our 7 year old. We had a great time! Staff were all lovely. Showers and toilets clean, hot and well stocked even when very busy. …

The staff was absolutely friendly upon check-in. We could feel his passion working in a campsite as he enthusiastically shared how the weather and seasons change in the area. Facilities are safe and comfortable too!

Fantastic camp site at the base of Stanage Edge. 20mins walk to Hathersage and just a few mins drive. Great setting with small but clean and functional shower block and toilets. Little drying room with power and small communal fridge and added bonus. Super friendly staff - thanks for a great couple of nights camping under the stars!

Beautiful spot hidden near a forest you can’t wear like sharing facilities. I only stayed in the one night but would definitely recommend.

A really good campsite that would be 5 stars were it not for the midges! Friendly staff and a convivial atmosphere just made this place a really nice space to spend a.couple of nights.

This was my first time at this campsite, I thought it was excellent in terms of location and facilities. Two large fields on a slight slope surrounded by trees, with additional camping areas and excellent facilities and parking. …
