Terrible experience with filthy hallway and stairs carpet, smelly rooms, toilet flush was leaking, and the staff were not at all helpful with taking bags up three flights of stairs. The room was tiny and the fan made a terrible sound so we had to keep the window open for a breeze. People shouting on the street kept us awake and when we demanded a refund for the remaining nights that we didn't stay, we got to help. We stayed one night and ended up paying for four nights. This hotel was terrible because of the customer service mainly; if they had accepted our complaint and refunded us for the nights we didn't stay there then my rating would have been better.

Looked for days to find a decent price to facilitate my work trip with several places to go. This is a decent price for London and has a pub over the road and several takeaways in 400 yards, with banks etc. Tube is near enough. Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Breakfast had choice and plenty (no bacon or sausage from, I guess, Islamic folks). I'd definitely just book there again next time without a moment's thought.

Clean and tidy family room. Good location for exploring London as is walking distance from some of the family attractions including Hyde Park. Price is excellent for the area and includes a breakfast buffet. The staff are very friendly and helpful and our 4 night stay was hassle free and enjoyable. Only downside is there is no lift if you happen to be on the top floor, but you do get a good view of the area from up there.

Terrible hotel, staff smoking on the front step when we pulled up. Then told no breakfast on offer due to Covid! One of the reasons we booked here. Couldn’t be bothered more like. Got the keys to the room, roasting with no aircon, ants crawling on the bathroom floor, wardrobe door and shower door hanging off, damp by the beds the children were meant to be sleeping in. Asked the guy on the desk did they have any additional towels for the children to which he huffed as he was watching something behind the desk. After two hours handed the keys back and walked out, could not let my children sleep in that room. Don’t usually do reviews but hopefully I save someone the same mistake. In the end booked around the corner that was perfect with full cooked breakfast in the morning too. Save your money and go elsewhere
