Upon checking in staff were welcoming and polite. Being a member if the loyalty scheme we were advised we could check in early. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was super comfy and shower efficient. The pool was warm but the sauna and steam room were a little disappointing and the poolside shower wasn't working. The staff, esp the ladies working the bar area, were delightful. We were on the 8th floor and had a lovely view of the town. Breakfast was fresh and plentifulOverall a very enjoyable stay.

Hi, I am staying at this hotel for more than a year now on weekly bases. However since more than a month I started facing where water drainage is blocked in bath room, insects and flies inside the room etc. you new shower system is really challenging too and surely far below than expectations. Please I suggest to look into this. I have provided same feedback to Toni at the hotel who is excellent for the support and help needed.thanks.

Marissa was extremely accommodating to us upon arrival. Felt very happy to arrive. We had a crappy experience at our previous place so this was like a breath of fresh air. So grateful!!!!!|Clean hotel, easy to find and all amenities are great.

The hotel is perfectly located for the station, but also quiet at night. Our room was very comfortable and Marissa and Raquel on reception were really welcoming and helpful, would definitely stay again. We’d booked a double, but were helpfully swapped to a twin with supersized singles.

If you need a clean bed and a roof over your head this is the hotel for you. |If you are looking for luxury, quality service and comforts, this is not the place you should choose. |The facilities are outdated and dirty. …

With a little effort this could be a very good hotel. At present it’s good with little niggles that let it down. A handy location (5 minute walk from the station) and reasonably priced. …

Pretty good value for money. Pros: the staff was very accommodating, the location is very central, I had a nice view, comfortable beds, pool and sauna enjoyable. Cons: the rooms can get a little hot and stuffy (BUT the staff did bring us a fan!), if you stay over the weekend the street can be loud and busy with nightclub goers (if you keep your window closed there is a pretty good amount of sound proofing but then it can get too hot).

I went to Novotel Reading for 4 Nights and I really enjoyed my stay and from the beginning everything went smoothly. The rooms were well kept. Me and family would like to thank Monika and Tracey as they were really caring at breakfast time and attended to our needs as quickly as possible. I would also like to thank Marizah as before we even got to the hotel she was really helpful in our process of booking on call. For the staff I did not name I am thankful for your hospitality.

After delays to a flight returning to the UK and a later than planned arrival, the welcome I had from the team was fantastic. |An efficient and brisk check in ensured I managed to get a hearty evening meal before retiring to an upgraded executive room. |I was looked after expertly by Marissa, Yolanda, Hugo and Salina. Thank you all.

I visited this hotel primarily for the pool, and it was a great experience. The pool was clean and warm, with a sauna and provided towels. The lockers had their own automatic locks, which was convenient. In the ladies' changing rooms, there was a wheelchair-accessible toilet with a shower, another shower, and a dressing room. There were also saunas available, though one was under repair during my visit. Overall, a very pleasant experience!
