Great food, great location, friendly staff especially Mariah and Yaz they made our trip very welcoming. The rooms were clean, smelt fresh which isn't always the case with Premier Inns. The beers were cold and varied too taste. So in conclusion, the location was good but staff made it better.

You can't open windows. They're fixed shut. The location is great, breakfast was good but it was super busy and maybe short of staff? People were having to wait for clean cups and cutlery.Location is brilliant, but there's no free parking. You just can't open your bedroom window, so no fresh air.

We booked into this Premier Inn for a funeral we were attending near by. Good location and a great breakfast. When we arrived in the evening, one of our conjoining rooms had been given to someone else, despite us phoning and booking it weeks in advance. We were finaly given separate rooms opposite ends of the corridor for myself, my husband and kids. When we did get to our rooms, the bed wasn't made. The rooms we had smelt of mould/damp and the bathroom was not all that clean.I can't fault the staff though, they were so apologetic and did everything they could to rectify the situation. Including a lovely note from the hospitality manager Callum, (give them a payrise!!) Callum gave us some chocolates and biscuits as a sorry which was a really lovely gesture. On reflection I'm not sure we would stay there again, due to the smell, all our clothes smelt of damp when we got home.

Ok, we had emailed the hotel in advance to ensure enough beds were in the room for our stay. Upon arrival we had realised that the beds requested had not been granted.view from the room was awful, a small courtyard and every other window all pointed inwards. The dinner service was rather slow, 50mins for our evening meal! The staff were accommodating and the room was clean enough. No parking on-site which is mentioned. The breakfast items had ran out and weren't being refilled, eg: pastries, juice and mugs. Probably stay elsewhere if visiting st Alban's.

Can't fault this place. Location is spot on in city centre but no noise at night or at any time.Staff on reception and at breakfast are also friendly and helpful.Food at breakfast was really good, fresh, updated, and plenty of it. My guest was a veggie and asked chef for veggie sausages, and he brought it to our table when ready. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, full English, cereals, pastries, pancakes, and crumpets.Definitely stay again.

A good stay with lovely staff but when you pay nearly £300.00 for 4 nights you would expect a shower head but instead we didn't get one it was more like a drain pipe going into the bath. The hair dryer was tempermental. The heating definatly works cause if your cold wack it up your soon warm up. 😂

A note from the central office had not got through to the hotel about a need for two travel cots. Staff could not have been more helpful. They sorted everything out, all with a smile and made the whole experience easy. Everyone was super friendly.
