I have just spent a few nights here and can't complain.. Yes the decor is dated but I wanted somewhere clean with a comfortable bed and that is exactly what I got. The owner was very welcoming and it's just a short walk to the beach and attractions. Great value for money. Will be back.

This really is a no frills property. The saying you get what you pay for seriously applies here. I wanted a 1 night stop over with the kids, in a good location, with a bar and a pool table. It cost £68 for a family of four. It ticked all those boxes for me. It's a shame as the hotel could really do with a bit of renovation, TLC, and some air freshener. The host was very polite and welcoming. It really feels as though they are running this into the ground as rooms are really outdated. I felt as though I had gone back to the 80s. Parking is only available in a local pay and display, which is £15 for 24 hours. If you want a roof over your head and a shower for the night, it will do. If you are fussy or over expectant of B & Bs in Blackpool, do not stop here, or you will be disappointed.

Arrived at this place all I can say is wow how has it not been shut down if the owner is not prepared to spend a fortune on it..Went in got shown to our room then the owner went downstairs to where music was blasting (we was told the hotel was quiet on Friday night when we booked only 2 other families, but that wasn't the case) ..No customer service from him Went in the room yeah it was a family room but as far as en suite goes you couldn't even open the bathroom door properly as the bed was over it then there was hardly any room in there anyway...carpets were far from clean, the walls were filthy... I am far from a snob but we didn't stay... please save your money and go somewhere else. Wouldn't let me post until I gave a star but for me I wouldn't even give it 1 star.

OK so it was cheap for a night and we expected basic but this place is filthy, grimy and needs a full revamp. It's like a B &B stuck in the 1980's and not in a good way. Just about managed a few hours here on a one night stay. …

Dirty! |Arrived with my daughter and was pretty horrified at how filthy the room was. Brown marks on walls, barely hoovered and filthy inside drawers. |I chose not to make a fuss due to trying to hide my anfer from my child. …

Good location but no parking outside, I won't be staying here again there was blood on the toilet door which another review months ago mentioned it and it's still there so not been cleaned well enough. It had a horrible smell like they have animals living there it was giving me allergies and when me and my daughter got home we have bite marks on our skin from there mattresses so either fleas or bedbugs also we had to share the showers with other guests and had to share the toilet with others as well no ensuites, you can't take food back to your room or you will be charged £30 and if you don't check out at 10am you will be charged £10 til 12pm if your still not checked out by 12pm you get charged for another full night me and my daughter was put in a very small box room with no wardrobe or bedside table there was a chair as the bedside table instead. It's cheap and I wish I knew the condition before paying otherwise I would of paid a little bit More to stay somewhere else and in future I'll be reading the reviews of others to get a better understanding of what a place is like.If it was cleaner and we didn't get bite of something and they updated the place I might of stayed again.

I stayed at a hotel which is associated with this hotel, from what I have been told they are owned by the same people. Which is why I want to advise people to be very cautious when booking this hotel. …

This place is dirty. We couldn’t stay with our toddler and are being refused a refund. Basic is ok but not dirty. …
