Check in process easy but remember to bring photo ID. Even though it was never mentioned during the booking process the receptionist was very keen that without it I would be unwelcome. …

We have found the ibis to be very good value. It pitches itself to the 'budget' market and delivers value for money. It is not luxurious, but it is comfortable. The staff we encountered were great. In London you can pay an awful lot more for far less. We will be happy to go back.

Genuinely couldn't complain about my stay here!Booked for a business trip as it was the most affordable option for central London, so my expectations were low... But it was great! Basic but clean room, the bed was comfortable enough and the bathroom was hygienic and functional. The air con in my room seemed to malfunction a couple of times and seemed to "bubble" throughout the night even though it was off, but aside from that it was a pleasant stay. Helpful staff and good location.

We stayed for two nights. In general, the hotel was okay. Room was very small (cosy) and basic with a single bunk bed on top of a double bed. Window faced right at the Islamic Centre. …

We had a lovely stay at the budget Ibis in Whitechapel. Nest room with breakfast and AC was best price we could find for central London, compact but perfect for a base with comfy bed, nice shower, TV and view of London skyline. …

We stayed here as a family recently. The room is small-ish. Room is correctly described online when we booked it for 4 nights. It is essentially a basic budget hotel. Do not expect frills.  …

£200 for the night with no hairdryer or iron. The shower is awful and can’t be moved from its position. You don’t get a floor mat so have to use a hand towel to walk in. It’s definitely budget not budget and also in a really run down area of London. Queue at breakfast was massive so didn’t bother.

Ibis Budget London Whitechapel Road. Very very poor, actually dangerous and unacceptable. Check in at 3pm few staff many customers. They had changed their software today and it was not working. …

I stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night in May. The hotel is relatively basic. I paid £289 for 2 nights including breakfast, which is expensive for what you get but this is London and hotel prices are very expensive. …

Quite a good hotel, however, the street outside is quite busy. I was impressed most by the location and the rooms. Depending on what room you're in, the inside of the hotel can be quite difficult to navigate as there is different sections to the building. This hotel was booked for a nearby concert. All other hotels increases they're prices, but I made a member account for ibis and got the hotel for good value and I would recommend everybody does the same - it costs nothing. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel (literally) that takes you to Liverpool Street station, which has connections to anywhere you could want to go to.
