We stayed at this hotel for one night and commuted to Wembley using the nearby tube station. The tube station was a 3 minute walk from the hotel which meant it was super easy commuting both in and out whilst avoiding central London. The staff were incredibly nice, the man who served us was very friendly and kind. I didn’t catch his name but he is a credit to the business. The room was acceptable for a one-night stay. It was decorated in a simple and old-fashioned style, it was giving ‘grandma’s house’ vibe. The bed wasn’t super comfortable and the headboard was a little worn. The wardrobe door wouldn’t shut properly. The cups provided were dirty, whilst this wasn’t a big deal as we just didn’t use them, it was just a small thing I noticed. The room also had a faint dusty smell to it.The main issue with our stay was the en-suite bathroom. Whilst it was undeniably clean, it had a really pungent smell to it. It was a similar smell to a public bathroom. It was odd because as previously said the bathroom was visibly very clean, the smell was very strong. There was also a plastic bag covering one of the drains behind the back of the toilet which was a little bit worrying. This hotel was good for a one-night stay for us, although we wouldn’t opt to stay here again. It cost us just over £80 for one night which seemed reasonable enough. The best thing about our stay here was that it was very close and convenient for commuting into Wembley for a concert and that the staff were very friendly.

Hotel has no lifts - we had to carry 5 suitcases over a couple of floors. We visited late June and London was hot. But this hotel had no A/C and the only fan present was in a sub-optimal place. Opening windows didn't help as the room was land locked. Our room, though it had bed for 4 ppl, there was not any space left to stand or do anything else. Shower area was too small for even one person to shower comfortably.

Surprisingly comfy beds, rooms are small but in such a central location you won't be spending long in there. Very friendly staff at desk too. Great for anyone going to matches as a result.

We booked a room for three people, and I wouldn't reccomend this hotel for anyone. There are many better and cheaper options around London that still are in a good location near underground stations.Actually, the location and kind staff are the only good features of this hotel. It is located near the notting hill gate underground station and hyde park, you can reach the Natural History Museum in about 40 minutes. But now let's talk about the problems of this hotel. And you should really consider them before booking! When we arrived, we were offered a room in the basement, but that was not the main issue of the room. The walls had serious water damage, the smell was also quite unpleasant. The room was tight and dark. There was one single bed and one double bed, we booked in advance a room for 3 adults, so that was simply uncomfortable. The shelves were dusty and dirty, they were also really small. One of the plugs was sticking out of the wall. The door to the toilet couldn't be locked, there wasn't even any place to leave our wet towels at.To summarize I would like to remind you that there are many hotels in London that are better priced while still being in a good location while not being a 3-star hotel. So consider cheaper options because they really might be better! But if you really decide to stay there, don't let them put you in the room located in the basement.

Room was quaint, the soundproofing I seen advertised on the website was okay but not completely silent! Lots and lots of stairs if you're on the higher floors but for value and location you can't complain! Unfortunately no photos of the room, I only stayed to sleep and shower because there wasn't much to do in there lol.

This hotel delivered what it advertised to do. A simple low standard middle of the road sleep and leave kind of deal. No breakfast facilities etc. I liked it for what it was and the people who worked there were normal and nice. No elevators as I knew from before, the stairs are long and partly narrow, but Im strong so I careied our heavy bags as planned. The hard and small beds were normal. The bathroom was clean and had a mild prison vibe with a solid fixture on the wall. Just fine.I read all this before I came in the reviews so I was not disappointed. I do reccomend this place for a centrally placed simple hotel. Right by the subway and the park. I'd go back. London is silly expensive in the summer and this was a nice middle ground on a budged.

Cost effective, friendly service. This is a budget property, but it was clean, and my tiny room was just perfect for a quick spot to lay my head down for the night, and then continue on with my trip.

The location is perfect, the personnel is fine, unfortunately the rooms are quite small, but again, for this price you can't really expect too much from London. Our stay was ok.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at…. Was put in a basement room with 0 signal even with WiFi was bad….. stuff all in the corridor so if there was an emergency evacuation people be clambering over boxes no option for breakfast…… door didn’t lock from the inside so was on edge the whole night incase someone tried to get in the room and staff banging about at 8am so inconsiderate was told when I got back from a event I did not have a room there so dashed my room key on the counter to prove I was staying there…… massive rectangular drop in the floor which the staff said was a step absolutely shocking rooms on website look completely different to when you go there…… went upstairs before leaving to go to the event I was going to and they had mopped floor by reception desk with no wet floor signs so if had slipped over be a whole different scenario
