Lovely place , just a short walk to the arena we were attending. Absolutely 10/10 customer service and have to give a shout out to Izzy the member of staff at reception, she was great, super friendly and attentive. The breakfast was also delightful in the morning. We are coming back soon, thank you so much!

Basic hotel in the middle of a residential area. Very comfy and clean. Breakfast is all you can eat for £9.99 which is very nice and lots of choice. Plenty of room for breakfast. There is also a small bar if you don't want to go out or you just want a night cap. Bathroom facilities are good. You will need to take your own hairdryer. Lovely helpful staff at the front desk who appear to work very hard. The supervisor who helped us each day was very friendly and helpful. Depending on where your room is located you can see the skyline which is great for photos on a night. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is in a perfect location for visiting Salford Quays and The Lowry, it’s in a very nice area and I did not feel unsafe walking around as a lady in my own in the evening. …

Really loved my stay. The hotel was busy but I had asked for a quiet room and that's exactly what I got. Staff super friendly. Felt well looked after! I don't often like travelling on my own but I felt very safe

I booked a Standard Room Plus at Travelodge Manchester Salford Quays for five days but only stayed one night before checking out. When I entered the room it was boiling hot but the window was open, letting in rain. As it was impossible to adjust the room temperature, I had to keep the window open but slept badly because of the noise outside. The room was dirty in several places, although the bedding appeared to be clean. The shower head had pink and black material growing on it (I had to try and clean it before I felt comfortable using it), there was a yellow stain on the toilet, dust on the hospitality tray and a used coffee pod left in the machine. The shower had several hairs in it and the bedroom window had black mould or dirt around the frame (I didn’t want to get close enough to find out which). The bathroom extractor didn’t work, so after I’d showered everything was dripping with condensation. The images on the Travelodge website show a ‘Plus’ room which looks spacious, with a good desk and an armchair. Please be aware that, as it states on the web site, the images are for illustration only. It was almost impossible to do anything on the desk as the hospitality tray and fan took up most of the space. The room layout was such that you could either hang your clothes up or use the armchair but not both. There were no drawers and no space to put a suitcase where you wouldn’t trip over it. I was staying on my own but if two people were in the room I think it would be very uncomfortable for a stay of longer than one night.I’ve given this Travelodge two stars because the reception staff were as helpful as they could be given the limitations of the room and most of the money I’d paid was refunded after I brought the many issues to the attention of the manager.I’m aware that this is a budget hotel, so my main requirements are a comfortable sleep in a clean room. I got neither of those things on this occasion. I’ve stayed in a Travelodge at other locations several times in the past and had a good stay but I won’t be returning here.

The room was a nice size for a family of 4. The beds were comfortable, and the staff in the night duty young slim black guy served us well he was very friendly and helpful sorry forgot his name. The room cleanliness was not good there was blonde hair in the bath, and all sorts of dirt on the bathroom floor. There was a lot of dust on the shelf/light, which was behind the bed. A side table would have been helpful.

We stayed here for 5 days and it was amazing experience. Izzy and her team worked very hard to make our stay the most pleasant. We paid extra for 6th floor rooms, that were lovely presented, clean and refurbished. Loads of breakfast choices and staff were nice and smiley. We had dinner in there few times too and food quality was decent standard. I 100% recommended this place. Thank you!🙏🏼

Rooms were awful, badly designed, poor choice of colours and lighting made the room not comfortable or cosy.||There was an issue with the bathrooms, very smelly, had to change rooms 3 times. …

Great hotel, the staff were really friendly, rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious and parking is close by, which is discounted for hotel guests. ||Great location as we stayed there, so we could go to the Coronation Street tour and it’s not too far from the tram stop and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice stay, would’ve given a 5 but wish there was a telephone in the room as there were a couple of times we went to reception to ask for things. But, if we asked for an iron, more towels and utensils we received it very quickly!Would like to give extra appreciation to Izzy as she was a very genuine and personable receptionist :)
