Stayed 1 night. Perfect distance for good, roman baths, train station and shops. Room is small but in a good way, bathroom/shower great layout. Didn't have the breakfast or drinks but the vibe of the main reception was excellent. To top it off I was even able to watch some football whilst it rained outside. 100% would stay again

Great hotel. Personalised customer service.Use this hotel on a regular basis for my trips to Bath. I've been going there for over 3 years now.You get free cheese and wine on certain days! 🙌🏻They have a members discount that is accessible straight away, unlike other reward programs where you have to build up.Had a minor silly issue a few weeks ago with housekeeping, but Richard and his team have worked hard to sort it out and ensure I was satisfied with the outcome.

The Z Hotel in Bath is a hidden gem in the heart of the city, just steps from the Abbey. Despite its compact size, the room is brilliantly designed to maximize space without making you feel cramped. …

Stayed here whilst I did the bath half. Perfect location in the centre of bath. Friendly staff and super attentive. Paid for a windowless rooms but got upgraded on arrival which was a great bonus! …

We stayed here for one night choosing the Z Hotel because of its proximity to the theatre. The greeting at reception was as efficient and friendly as I have come across anywhere. We had read other negative reviews about room size and comfort and cannot see the problem. They are rooms to rest in and were perfectly adequate in size and comfort. Luxurious they are not - for luxury in Bath you would pay a great deal more than this place charges. No complaints about the hotel or staff. However the booking information needs to be clearer. It makes clear that the car park is a five minute walk away. I would like to meet the athlete who did the walk in that time. What the booking information does not say is that it is not possible to drop someone off at the hotel during the daytime. I have mobility problems and rang the hotel from the car park and was assured that a taxi could enter the traffic free zone and drop me at the door. It turned out the taxi could not and there was still quite a walk from the drop-off point which was a major problem. The appalling traffic rules are not the fault of the hotel but the website does need to be clear about this.

Excellent place to stay in a very central location to everything we wanted to do in the city. The rooms are small but very nice, clean, and had excellent showers. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. There is also a very welcoming lounge/cafe in the lobby that had cold water to fill up before we went out for the day. The location was also so great we were able to stop a couple times a day as we explored without going out of it way too much. I would recommend as long as you're comfortable with a smaller room

I just spent 4 nights here. Location is perfect! Everyone smiles when you walk by the desk. It is clean and comfortable. Yes, rooms are small but not terribly. I suggest they add luggage racks so the desk space doesn't have to be used for the suitcase. I will say that I sure slept in longer without having a window!! I would stay at this hotel again any day.

I liked this hotel. Perfect location. Busy area but room was quiet. Friendly staff. A nice hotel for a solo traveler. Place to eat in the lobby with a small menu when I didn’t want to go and sit in a restaurant alone. I had a window and even though it is small it was perfect for one. I’d go back

I absolutely love my experience at the hotel and it made my experience and that so much more pleasurable… Yes, the rooms are small by American standards, but super clean and compact and the linens were great. …
