We had 4 rooms, checking in was a tad slow but that wasn't too much of a problem. The rooms were tired but functional and clean. The bedding was fresh and in all the 4 rooms there was no issues with smell or any sign of damp as others reviews had suggested. For us it was perfect as we wanted somewhere clean to sleep and that fulfilled our requirements in full. It is a budget hotel, and I would have no problem staying there again.

Avoid this place at all costs. I’ve returned from staying here absolutely covered in bed bug bites. There must be an infestation. The hotel is dirty so I can understand why. If this is not enough to put you off, it is also incredibly noisy with sounds of police cars, motorbikes, drunk people and the just the general movements of other residents throughout the night. I stayed a few nights whilst away for work and did not get one decent night sleep. The one staff member I encountered whilst staying here was friendly and polite, the hotel is in a good location and was cheap; however, these are very small positives for what was otherwise an absolutely terrible experience staying here.

When i arrived at the hotel there was no one in reception, i buzzed the door for 5-10 minutes and still no answer. i decided to ring the numbers given, i rang over 15 times without a response. over 35 minutes later i got a call back from a very un apologetic women who told me it wasn’t her fault as she didn’t have service ( by this point another guest had come downstairs and told me he’d also waited for about an hour and had the exact same issue with phoning the lady). I got up to my room which was just left unlocked, and i find a glass in the bathroom, covered in lipstick. The mugs also had dirt in them, as well as the desk being covered in crumbs - the room had clearly not been cleaned. this was an awful experience that i will never be repeating, and i highly recommend you don’t either.

Absolute state, there was writing on the walls, chips and marks on all walls, dirt and others peoples stuff under the bed. Multiple cracks in the bathroom tiles and what looked like fecal matter or mould in the shower. There were stains on the towels and bedding that I was provided. Broken fixtures and fittings as well. There doesn't seem to be a front desk either you have to call a mobile number if you need any help.Really not happy that I paid for this hotel, wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

So as far as location this place is perfect, a 1 minute walk from the train station, and a couple of minutes away from Riverside but apart from that, the rest is diabolical. It really was the most uncomfortable night of my life. What with no coffee, cobwebs, and wafer thin pillows it just got worse. No air con (no fans to be offered) and the disgusting smell wafting through the open window of out of date fish!!! As for parking which it states it has, there is one space. This is even if promised not a given, I ended up paying £21 for overnight parking at multi storey.I'd highly recommend looking for a better hotel. The movie trainspotting came to mind.

Cancelled with less than 24 hours notice!!! Absolutely shocking, avoid at all costs!!! Did not even phone, just a text message!! Obviously sold the room on for a higher price due to a concert nearby, we are left with nowhere to stay and they are not replying to phone calls or text messages

Stayed for 2 nights, room 4. When returning to our room on the 1st night we discovered the door to our room would not lock from the inside. Didn't sleep well at all for the 2 nights. The room had coffee and tea making facilities but no spoon to stir the drinks. The shower room was clean, but the shower cubicle was small, the shower curtain was too long and draped over the floor so the floor got wet. The vent axia in the shower room was due a service, dirty and full of cobwebs. The bedroom had damp patches above the curtains and the room smelt unpleasant. The bed was clean and comfortable but although a 4ft 6inch double felt cramped. The staff when we arrived were pleasant but not prepared for us. Didn't see any reception staff after our arrival. Only saw the cleaning staff so got extra washroom supplies. We booked a deluxe room but it wasn't. Overpriced for what we had. Not happy about the lock on the door not working.
