Very clean and well laid out hotel with friendly and helpful staff. No restaurant within the hotel nut there are many nearby and you can request for food to be delivered if you prefer not to go out. …

Excellent location to explore London. Upgraded to a suite which was very spacious. Beds were super comfortable and air con easy to use. Disappointed in that there were no bath robes and shower caps. Also no carpet in bedroom so didn't think rooms were luxurious. Have stayed in better for cheaper. Breakfast was okay. Bit of a free for all. Plenty of options available. Foodwas tepid at best.

Just spent the week here Aug 14-20. Very easy check in/check out. Clean rooms, small but that’s to be expected. Comfortable beds! Was blown away by the breakfast included…it was huge and delicious! So many options! I miss my morning cappuccino’s! Extremely convenient location, steps to Victoria station, and also many great restaurants/shops right by the hotel. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

I recently stayed at Hotel Riu Plaza London Victoria and overall had a pleasant experience with a few minor issues. The hotel's location is fantastic—within walking distance of Buckingham Palace and just a few minutes' walk from the train station, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. The check-in process was a bit unusual. They required both our driving licenses or passports, which isn't the norm in the UK, but luckily we had them with us. The staff at the reception seemed a bit impersonal, and our room wasn't ready when we arrived early. However, it was prepared by the standard check-in time at 3 pm. We joined other guests in the reception area, waiting for email confirmation that our room was ready. Our room was clean and surprisingly spacious for London standards. The hotel itself was well-maintained, and everything was in good working order. The bathroom was spotless, and the shower was excellent. Housekeeping serviced our room once during our three-night stay, which was sufficient for us.A delightful surprise was waiting in our room—a beautiful card and a bottle of wine on ice to celebrate our second wedding anniversary. It was a thoughtful touch, especially since we hadn't informed the hotel about the occasion.Breakfast was basic, and to get to the dining area, we had to cross the road, which was a bit inconvenient. On the first day, there was some confusion as they couldn't find our room in the system, but they kindly allowed us in regardless. There was construction across the street, so the view from our window wasn't perfect, but that's pretty standard for a bustling city like London.Despite the minor issues, the staff were generally professional, and the hotel's prime location made our stay enjoyable. I would recommend Hotel Riu Plaza London Victoria for those looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in the heart of the city. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars—it's worth staying there even with a few small hiccups.

I visited the Ru Plaza London Victoria hotel a few months ago for a travel trade event. The location is extremely convenient, being very near Victoria Station, and practical for any kind of traveler, either for leisure, business, or when going to another destination. The Victoria Station area is really busy, but once inside the hotel I didn’t feel the business happening outside. Also, the compact common areas are spacious enough to relax,The reception desk can easily get overrun, so there could be lines, luggage around, people waiting to check in or out and people just lounging. So a little patience will be needed. This hotel is new construction, which can be a plus compared to older properties. The rooms feel spacious considering this is central London, so there is not a lot of space, but the decoration and well designed areas make it feel right for one or two guests. There is plenty of natural light with large windows with city views and well - placed lighting. I don’t think you can open the windows for a chance to get fresh air (and noise). You can walk across the street or use the overpass walkway to the large restaurant for breakfast, which is not too crowded if you time it right. The food choices were good and varied, nothing exceptional but very fresh and plenty of.I loved the architectural features, especially the staircase glass area with nice views. As a travel planner, I recommend this as a great place to explore the city for a short stay, not necessarily ideal for large families or groups, but great standards for a four - star hotel from the RIU brand in London if you get a good rate compared to the properties nearby.

We booked the Riu Victoria just after it opened and were happily surprised at how well it was run, how clean it was and how good the breakfast was (which was included). Safe, secure and very close to Victoria Station. We were a couple of stops on the tube to most of the places we wanted to go, so it was really easy to get around.Rooms were spacious and modern. We were very happy with our stay and would go back the next time we are in London.

The room is very small, the gym does have yoga mats but there isn't enough space to use it almost. The location is great which is why I stayed there. The best thing was the breakfast! It really was awesome! The room was ready when we arrived which was a plus. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work, so that was a bummer because you have to use your flatting iron in the bed side. The room also feels hot. Everywhere on London feels hot. BRING A HAND FAN, IF YOU GO IN SUMMER. I Didn't realize September is so hot still. This is not a City that uses air conditioning. The restaurants Hot, the underground hot, the Shops hot! It's cool if your walking outside. So it would be nice if the ac in the room is cool. But it feels humid instead. The late check out is not possible only 30 minutes allowed or they charge 20 pound the hour. Overall it was a good experience. But I would try to find a different hotel next time.
