Beautiful place! The scenery and history is outstanding! Such breathtaking views and architecture. Amazing place to stay or to have dinner. Food was exceptional, especially the steak! Could not get over how stunning the grounds were! There was a wedding going on whilst we booked dinner and it was so beautiful to watch! The happy couple could not have picked a more picturesque place! Staff are incredibly professional yet friendly and helpful.

Although I loved my stay, there are a few things that could be improved. I was gifted an overnight Spa Voucher from my son - which cost a fortune - it doesn't include any treatments but you"re not told this. It only includes lunch, dinner the accommodation and the use of the swimming pool and gym. The room was OK, but considering how much you pay you would expect a little more luxury. The curtains were dirty, the floor under the bed was disgusting dirty. Plus the heating didn't work. Very basic room but the decor was tasteful, shower was fabulous, the bed very comfy. The food menu is ALL a la carte, even the lunch. Very delicious but expect to pay (not included in the voucher offer) for vegetables and any side dishes & drinks or go hungry. No other food menu on offer outside of meal times at the spa location, only at the manor house, which is useless in your swimsuit 😀.Breakfast is buffet, no eggs, no bacon etc. Toast is the only hot food. All cereal, fruit and yogurt. The treatments are fab but watch out the extras which are not included on the price list, such as hand, face and foot masks. The therapist will ask if you want these as part of the treatment but you're not told you will need to pay for them. But I did enjoy my visit but will be better prepared if I stayed again.

Champneys at Eastwell Manor is much like its clientele; old, tired and in need of a facelift.I booked a twilight spa, how the rest of the people in there stayed for 5 hours I will never understand. Firstly, every part of the spa is in one big space, in a sports centre type building, so you could easily experience everything in 1 hour and be done. Everything is tatty and worn. The lights were blaring spotlights, hardly relaxing. It was giving 90s vibes and not in a good way. The changing rooms were a state, not maintained, with cheap products and broken parts. As part of the twilight package we got credit towards a meal in Eastwell manor which is where the evening got redeemed. The manor and grounds and beautiful and the restaurant food was surprisingly good. The staff were also friendly and helpful.Sadly,Champneys is just not worth the money, don't waste it coming here. The restaurant however, is worth a visit.

Afternoon Tea was booked and expectations were high. The grounds are very beautiful , the different gardens divine, and if you like heavy Victorian country architecture, the building was attractive. …

We got a last minute deal and we are so glad we didn't pay full price. We stayed in the mews. The room was okay, basic. I would have expected a bit of luxury but was disappointed. …

My husband and I visited in September to kick off our honeymoon, and we were not disappointed. Our suite was spacious and had a four poster bed and copper tub— it felt very luxurious. The service was attentive, and everyone was extremely kind. We were very happy with our stay.

We had a wonderful mini-moon. The staff in the hotel and the spa were attentive and organised. We had a very smooth arrival and departure. The food at breakfast and dinner is excellent and restaurant staff were on the case with recommendations and creating a relaxed ambience. The spa changing facilities are a little tired (broken toilet, damaged sink) but the facilities themselves do exactly what you need. Overall, it was a relaxing and restoring stay after a mega weekend of a wedding party. We are planning another stay soon.

Unfortunately not worth the £300 we paid for a one night stay (room & dinner). The room was super basic, no wifi at all. Construction work started directly outside our room at 8am, which was so loud, our idea of a nice peaceful morning was ruined. The signage around is very confusing, it’s hard to understand where you’re going, if it’s your first time. Luckily we bumped into guests who told us where reception and the spa was. The map provided was quite hard to understand.Food menus were very limited & the few dishes we did actually want were unavailable. We were expecting a wonderful stay due to the reputation of this Hotel, but unfortunately we were incredibly disappointed. However, the staff were lovely and friendly, it’s just a shame about the overall experience.

Overall had a lovely weekend break. The room was comfy (we were in the mews). The grounds are stunning. The manor house impressive. Staff fantastic. However a few negatives which stopped it getting 5 stars. The spa - we had trouble getting a locker. All lockers "in use" or broken. The beds around the pool reminded me of holiday - people reserving them with towels and leaving for drinks/treatments/lunch. Jacuzzi - stingy eyes.Food was nice but tiny portions. The Manor - restaurant was great service but VERY expensive. The mains are £28 - £32 each and does not include the potatos or veg. The mains are tiny portions. The potatos £6 for a side dish.

The loveliest afternoon tea in beautiful Eastwell Manor. Scrummy food attentive service lots of top ups of the Teapot. Never rushed we had such a fab time we stayed for over 4 hours and they very kindly gave us complementary Baileys. Highly recommended Well done Aaron and team.
