We spent one night here after a longer stay (to be nearer to town and station).Really enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and exciting, lovely lighting and calming ambience throughout the hotel. The bed was comfortable and clean for a really reasonable price. It was quiet in the room considering we were there at Halloween and the bars outside were buzzing. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back. Amazing value for money.

We wanted a hotel near The Dome as we had booked seats for Van Morrison concert. We had booked a parking space £30 and after finding a receptionist we managed to to get the car barrier open. …

The breakfast and location were amazing. We went to the Komedia which was 2 minute walk round the corner. The parking is tight so prebook a space if you're driving! |The decor was very odd! Not my thing but bed was comfy. Window didn't open which was annoying but the air-conditioning was good. |4/5

Probably the oddest hotel room I've ever stayed in. In need of some tlc. Sink and table had chips and cracks in looking unhygienic, pillows and duvet are stained. The bathroom situation is particularly odd. Open concept where you can see straight into the shower from the rest of the room, and for some reason they've put a cut out so you can see directly into the bathroom, so if you want privacy to shower the other person needs to sit in bed, and then you don't have privacy because there's a mirror placed in such a strategic way that you can see straight into the bathroom anyway! Very weird. Frosted glass door to the toilet which is still see through enough that it might as well not be there. Overall it was a comfortable stay and very affordable just for one night so we could see a theatre show. Very good location but you are also right next to pubs and bars so it can get a bit noisy at night. Reasonably priced mini bar is a nice touch although we didn't use it, as well as the option to use Chromecast on the very reasonably sized TV so you can use your own Disney/netflix accounts. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance as well as Theatre Royal and the seafront

Found a lot of reviews on here moaning about various things. I've just come back from staying 2 nights at this hotel and I found everything to be in very good condition. If you have any issues before hand, they have a Whatsapp Group which you can contact to discuss which is replied to quickly. The location of the hotel is good, about a 10-15 minute walk from the Train Station. It is very close to the Theatre area and has a lot of choice for food etc. We were upgraded to a superior room which was very quirky but a nice change from the formulaic Premier Inn's of this world. The open bathroom isn't something I would normally choose but it is what it is. The service from staff was great and I'd absolutely stay here again when I come to Brighton next time.

Staff are helpful. Food lovely. Location great. Carpark price was RIDICULOUS - beware. Also the stupid access code system is the single worst idea I've ever witnessed in a hotel. The codes are complex, the numbers are different to type in, and the system is cumbersome to say the least. The carpark is located separately to the lifts so you can not transfer luggage easily. But an overall BAD experience, given some great components.

Nice hotel with bright and quirky décor. Very friendly and efficient Staff and it's in a great location. We really liked our Superior Double room and didn't hear a thing from the bars etc below/nearby once we went to bed, so no worries with soundproofing. Got a good deal on the booking too, so would definitely recommend!

I'll start by saying the rooms are getting a little tired from damage, but the quirkiness of them saved it. But the staff were polite and helpful and always on hand if needed. As for the location; perfect. A few minutes walk from the Lanes, right on the edge of the gay village, opposite Five Guys (who are open until midnight) and a 5 minute walk from Popeye's. There are cute cafés and bars within a 30 second walk. Couldn't ask for more!

I reasonably quiet hotel with the basics. The bed was good. The carpets and fittings are tired but perfectly functional. The staff what little you see of them are friendly. A good location only a few minutes walk from the train station and a few minutes walk from the main attractions. Convenient supermarket across the road and plenty of food options. The tie down loops on the bed are basically amusing.

I stay in room 299 a superior double with king bed on 30th August and I was not disappointed! The design was great, very retro and minimalist. It was refreshing not staying in a corporate setting. The shower was really good very powerful and plenty of hot water. The lighting is also perfect for pictures and selfies. There are four mirrors in the room which is also a bonus for doing hair and makeup. I was even able to connect my Netflix to the TV which I loved as many places don’t have that facility. It’s right in the middle of the lanes, beach and restaurants so the location is perfect. I read the reviews before my stay so brought ear plugs as there is a bar opposite and had a great night sleep, the bed and pillows were also extremely comfortable. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. I’m definitely going back!
