Such a perfect place. Nice room. Incredible view on the sea. Perfect people to take care of us even for just one night. The elevator is amazing. You can go there with no doubt. The parking is easy you can get a fault ticket for almost nothing. I recommend

We had a very enjoyable 4 night stay at Chatsworth hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were very nice with a good choice at the buffet. The only problem I had was how to operate the TV and had to seek advice. …

The Chatsworth is in a prime location. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The decor is tasteful. The hotel was very clean. We would have liked a restaurant in the hotel, I must have missed this when I booked it. …

A lovely, comfortable hotel on the seafront overlooking the promenade and beyond. Nice additions like a pianist in the bar in the evening. All of the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. A special mention must go to the Manager and the breakfast chef on the egg station.

We had an enjoyable stay for a couple of days staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room very clean and well stocked, would be nice to have bath sheets rather than bath towels but that’s just my preference! …

We booked last minutes, one night stay over the weekend. Location is great. The entrance looks stylish and clean. Our room was basic. But what let it down is so-so cleaning. There was dust on top of bed headboard, blobs of dust hanging from bathroom extractor fan.And the worst, very smelly pillows, like they weren’t washed in years.Improve room cleanliness and it would be a pleasant place to stay in Eastbourne.

We had a fabulous stay at The Chatsworth: we stayed 3 nights and I would happily have stayed longer.Having arrived chaotically on Sunday (having an emotional 90 year old mum in tow!) George was fantastic. He was cool calm and collected when faced with a tired and moody woman ! He did everything he could to make sure all 3 rooms were near each other and on the same floor. We ended up with two rooms that had an interconnecting door and one room directly opposite. How George managed to stay polite faced with us that afternoon is a credit to him !The views from our rooms overlooking the beach were were fantastic. The hotel is about two minutes walk to the Pier and right across the street from the lovely beach. The bandstand is also a minutes walk away. Plus Harry Ramsdens fish & chip shop is two minutes walk away and I highly recommend that restaurant. We had breakfast each morning in the hotel and it was delicious though maybe a little on the pricey side. The rooms we had were great - large, airy and very comfortable. Bathrooms very modern too. Housekeeping came every day with fresh towels and topped up the tea and coffee etc.A big thanks to George, Matt, and Caitlin for making our stay so good and to their colleagues whose names I didn’t get.Plus a big thank you from our two dogs who got treats and a sausage one night too !

Extremely overpricedWe were really looking forward to staying at the Chatsworth as it seems like a luxury hotel. We booked the Junior Suite with a Sea View but were very disappointed when we arrived. This room was not worth the £320 price tag. The views of Eastbourne were lovely but the room itself was very dated, very unclean and notably run down. The carpets were stained, the cupboards weren't clean, the bedding was bobbly, the windows were mouldy and the shower head was broken. This room has so much potential but it seem that the decorating and cleaning were both rushed leaving us very underwhelmed.Had this room been £150, we wouldn't have felt the need to leave a bad review but it boasts luxury from first glance and it anything but.We also went down to the bar and were met with £12 lacklustre cocktails and a dirty bar area with crisps everywhere. The staff were friendly and making the most of the environment.Attached it a picture of side table with a fresh stain of god knows what on it

Warm welcome and excellent facilities. Slightly high cost overall and I think the hotel could offer the parking fees at a reduced cost considering breakfast is extra and no facilities for dinner in the evening!! Staff were very attentive and helpful at all times.
