The shared bathrooms were clean and the location good but that’s where the positives end. Everything in the room was old and poor quality. The beds were uncomfortable. …

If you can figure out the Underground, the location is okay. It’s close by enough to everything touristy in London. But the rooms are awful. The beds are super thin and it’s a single white sheet that didn’t even fit meaning I could see the filthy mattress. The sink in the room was disgusting (the bathroom wasn’t terrible but the water in the shower kept going hot then cold). Also it’s SMALL. I had a single rolling duffel and that made it cramped. The room genuinely has a twin bed and a sink and a stand and that’s it. No cleaning the whole 4 days I was there. I was out 90% of the time and only used it to sleep but even then it’s… you get what you pay for.

DO NOT STAY HERE. We booked based on booking.com description and reviews and it was shocking. We arrived to a front door with smashed glass. The whole place needs a through clean. …

Horrible hardly no sleep only good for one night and if your only gonna be there to sleep. manager absolutely rude and impolite if you get offered to sleep in the basement (it’s a room) the floor is terrible feels like handles asked the man and every time he got more and more mad .roomsSo outdated the bathroom is nice but the window is broken. it wasn’t bad sleeping the bed was fine. it didn’t feel like a good atmosphere I don’t recommend if your planing on staying in London for a few days a night would be fine . The man was really not nice and rude .and don’t recommend if u have kids it’s creepy .

The rooms are really small and old fashioned. Although the bed and the shared toilet were quite clean, the rest of the venue is haunting. My room smelled awful, the curtains were completely dirty, the tap in the room seemed to be closed for the previous 10 years... Oh Gosh, don't go to this place. The guy who welcomed me was completely disrespectful and not friendly at all. There is no breakfast included. The doors rumble and slam every time they open/close. The only good thing is the location. It's 10 minutes walking to King's Cross Station. The street at night has little light and is a bit scary if you go alone.

If you are looking for a romantic gateway, then this is not the place. If you are gonna be out like 90% and only stay for sleep, then this is the place. It's cheap and the place looks like it. The only modern thing here was the bathrooms, which had been done up lovely. Clean and tidy, too. My room was small, smaller than a prison, but it was clean. Did have a TV, but didn't work. The skin needs to be replaced. The room does need upgrading, but as I was only sleeping there, it did the purpose, so it was OK. I had no ensuit, but a shared bathroom. The stairs are narrow. No free breakfast. It's a 10 minute walk from the train station and from China Town so the location was fantastic

So when I tried to check in around 2 pm, there was nobody- no service. There is no front desk, you just ring a bell and hope someone opens the door, which they didn’t. I had to pay money to store my bags bc no one was there. Later in the evening the door was open, but I had to go searching for someone to help me. There is a manager in the basement who gave me a key but when I tried to ask about why no one was there earlier, he didn’t seem to understand my English. My room is super hot. I think the radiator is broken in high. I can open the window but then I hear all the noise outside. I tried to find someone to help… but again, no service. This place is a dump. Small rooms. No private bathroom. Furnishings are tacky and look like they came from a thrift store. I wish I was staying somewhere else. I should have checked more carefully before I booked. The location is good.
