My partner was booked here for a trip, she felt uncomfortable, unsafe, scared to the point she left after the first night. The locks on the door are fixed so you couldn’t lock yourself in and anybody could just walk in, when she mentioned this she was told it was for fire safety. She had to prop the door with a chair too feel a little safer, the room the bed was something that you would expect from an Eastern Europe 10euro a night hostel please stay away from the place…

HotelThe arrival was very bad, the host demanded £15 extra for check in, she told me that I couldn’t go outside of the house because it was late which made me feel like a prisoner. The host asked for the reasons why we wanted to go out at a late time (which was none of her business) but after explaining anyway that we wanted to “socialise with friends at a bar” she called me a liar which was very rude, and further said that we would “probably bring people back to the rooms”. This was extremely rude and unprofessional and without any valid reasons to even think that.To conclude, We did not argue with the host and stayed respectful but instead decided that we did not feel comfortable to stay the night and therefore left the property immediately to sleep in the car.Very rude host and will not be returning.

We arrived just after another couple - and a parcel delivery. The host remarked that we'd got the room for nothing - well next to nothing. She also showed me her four new teeth she'd had implanted recently. …

We stayed here after reading some positive reviews. I can say that the location is good, there is plenty of parking and also a lovely garden.|The room we stayed in was very small, and dated.  …

Also the door doesn’t work and owner shouts at you down the phone. I have stayed here 10 nights in past. Came back tonight. Another guest came in after me. Heard banging and kicking at the door. …

The bed room was very big and the beds were very comfortable. They did have a parking so that was ok. Other than that the windows in the bedroom were all broken so none of them could shut which made it very uncomfortable at night. There were dead bees and flys on the curtains also. The staff were extremely rude coming into my room on 2 occasions without having knocked first claiming it was for maintenance and I was also told despite having paid £60 for an en-suite that I couldn’t use the shower as it would cause flooding downstairs. I also didn’t feel very secure at night given the fact the staff came up to my room twice without having knocked first! Was not worth the price at all but I suppose for one nights stay it’s not too bad.

The worst place I have ever stayed in my life. ||Turned up to be told by the owner she was overbooked and didn’t know where she was going to put us. …

Stayed here for about 3 hours last week. Originally booked for the entire weekend but after check in and looking at the room I booked somewhere else, only using the room for shelter form the terrible weather outside. …

Check-in was hectic, language barrier with a resident so had to use another guest phone who was checking in to speak to I presume the owner. Hard to park on the drive without blocking in other guests. Dirty, seems to be a mix or permanent residents and short stay, dirty washing in the bathroom, room didn’t look like the advert. Slept in my car at the services and drove home rather than staying. Laminate flooring was coming up and all over the shop. Poor quality pictures as I was grossed out and just wanted to leave.

Returned from evening out to find room was occupied by somebody else! Immediately moved to house next door to a filthy room, empty nitreous oxide canister on floor. No WiFi connection as details in book out of date. …
