I felt very conflicted on whether to give this a 3 or a 4, but I judged that based on the money I paid, it was very good value for money and in a fantastic location. …

Okay, so this is a hard one, cause the service was wonderful, the location fantastic for Kings Cross and St Pancras stations. The room was clean but excessively small. The toilet and shower was the smallest ever. The bed comfortable and came with extra pillows. All in all a fine place for a late arrival and early morning departure but probably wouldn't stay for more than one night.

Always nice. They have a luggage locker room in case you are early before check in. Rooms are small to very small and mattress needs to be updated a year ago. Super convenient to Kings Cross/St. Pancras and the Underground. Concerning was a lady hitting up my phone saying my card was declined as soon as my plane landed. Desk said it was legit, I did not bite but waited to get to the hotel to remedy things. Reservation was confirmed. I think I dodged a bullet but I am fraud fanatical too. Be cautious is what I am saying. Staff has always been very nice and helpful even with luggage up and down stairs and extra towels.

We booked a night at this hotel ahead of an early morning train, and were not expecting anything amazing as we understood it was a budget hotel. However, our experience was terrible. …

Great hotel with excellent service. It’s only about a block away from King’s Cross station which connects to more than 1/2 of London’s Underground lines - so easy to get from here to almost everywhere in London. The neighborhood was very quiet, even with the windows open. Rooms were very clean but the lack of air conditioning was an issue when we were there during a heat wave in late June. That was the only negative.

The location is great. Hotel and area felt safe. Room was small, which was fine and typical of London. It wasn’t super quiet though — nothing you can’t sleep through. Felt like appropriate value for the money.

The hotel is ideally located, 3 minutes walk from King's Cross. Although the neighborhood is busy and noisy, the hotel is on a quiet street. It is an ideal place to stay in the city. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. …

Don't let the pictures fool you. If you are from the USA, this "2 star" hotel is comparable to a motel. I got a room with a full bed. It is not small, it is tiny. And good luck if you have check-in luggage because you may be able to carry it up the tiny staircases (no elevators) and place it in to your room but it doesn't mean that you'll be able to open up your luggage in the room unless you place it on your bed. I am all about saving a few bucks for such an expensive trip to visit Europe but trust me when I warn you that you should just book a room at a hotel chain. The location of this motel is great because it is across the street from King's Cross Station but this is a very dingy motel room. There are gaps where the floorboards meet the walls, the rooms do not have AC. The water boiler for your instant coffee packet is not cleaned out after the last guest so it's moldy. The fruits they give you is also bad and they do not wrap it in plastic like in the pictures you see. The bathroom is also tiny and Im not a big guy but I struggle to maneuver comfortably around the tiny bathroom with the tiny sink. It is also dark and dingy and moldy since it barely has any ventilation. They hold on to your luggage for free so that's great and the front desk guy does try to help you carry up for check-in luggage.

Arrived early, so left luggage. Had a wander and a drink before returning. The lady/girl was very helpful and carried my case down the stairs. The room/shower was clean and tidy. Only one fault the wardrobe had seen better days, it was drunk/slanted five coat hangers for 4 people and a large hole in the back of it. The friendliness of staff great

Solo traveller, first room i had was down in the basement with small windows at footpath level, one window did not close properly and light switches were half off the wall. I asked for a refund to go elsewhere but they would not. …
