One of the best hostels I've ever been in my whole life. I've been in hostels in London where I had disgusting experiences. Not this one.The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Free tampons and pads are in all bathrooms (life saver because I didn't carry some with me and my period came unexpectedly). There's a kitchen and a fridge that you can use for free, together with a tea and coffee machine. Every angle of this place is super clean and the atmosphere in there is chef kiss. The women in there are so nice and friendly, a very safe environment. As a solo traveller, this was truly a blessing. It is well connected by the tube and you can go anywhere, I would say the area is not the best one but it doesn't matter.I would stay there again 100%. Since I needed to extend my stay in London, I booked for more nights and I would do it again at any chance.I cannot put enough emphasis on how beautiful this place is.recommended, recommended, recommended!!

One of the most, if not the most filthiest places I have stayed in the world. Black mould on the window frame in room 13. Toilet was broken and other one overflowing with rubbish on my floor. I stayed one night only, I arrived in the morning around 10am and left after 2pm the next day and the bathrooms had not been cleaned during my stay. Black mould in the shower. My room was not cleaned at all during my stay. Used band-aid on the floor near my bed and lots of hair/dirt on the floors. I really don't recommend this place to anyone unless they suddenly do a major clean of the whole place.Area is not the best if you're not used to London/big cities and can't handle yourself or know how to navigate rough areas. Loads of shouting on the streets after midnight, sketchy people around in the day. Be aware of yourself and your surroundings - though this is no fault of the hostel. Plus is that you're right near public transport.

Hostelle is a great place for a traveler on a budget. I felt very safe in the hostel itself and really appreciated the 24-hour reception. The AC is not particularly strong for those intending to stay in the summer (and I think not present in all rooms), but for the price it wasn’t too much of a bother. The bed was comfortable and the curtains all around helped me sleep very soundly. Excellent location in London with a tube station just a few hundred meters away.

This was the first hostel I stayed in it was fine though I wish the rooms were slightly bigger and I really wish the second toilet wasn't broken. I had to leave a bit early and couldn't get a refund which is in their policy but still sucked. It was cheap though and I likely would start again the location was great.

I stayed here for seven nights in total and I booked a month prior my trip via Booking.com and paid 171 pounds.I arrived very early in the morning, but there was no problem, storing my luggage and going out to explore the area . Later on when I wanted to check in, there was only a small wait for other guests and then I was able to move into room four. The room itself was pretty clean. There were just usual signs of usage. Since it was a 12 person bedroom, it was pretty crowded. The lights had some kind of defect, but since you have a reading lamp which gives you easily enough light, that problem didn’t bother me.My bed was made, and the sheets were clean, although they are not of the best quality, but I didn’t expect that. I slept on an upper bunk. All beds have two electricity ports and two USB ports. Moreover there’s a curtain for privacy and an option to hang your towels. You also got a little bed-built-in nightstand. Since we were in the cellar, I was lucky to have a little window at my feet which I could close an open. The toilets and showers in the cellar were OK to use, although other reviews had bad experiences, I cannot say that I did. Pretty much every day someone cleaned the toilets and showers but when 25 women are using the same four toilets and four showers, it is to expect that there’s gonna be hair and a bit of dirt. I think those are not directly to blame on hostelle but rather on peoples’ behavior within community used areas. The area around the hostel was great, but not for everyone. I personally am from a big city as well so the rush and many people are normal to me, but you still need to be careful. There’s a lot of stores around to buy fresh foods fish and stuff but you can also go to common grocery stores like Tesco. There are also a lot of cafes here, athough you can get free coffee at the hostel. And of course, the Bethnalgreen underground is about a five minute walk from the hostel. There’s parks and fun activities all around and I’d like the stay in East London, as there are not that many tourists and you could get a genuine London experience.Additionally, I liked the offered activities at the hostel, although I didn’t take part in them. On Mondays, there’s a girl dinner and since I stayed on Halloween, there they offered a little get together as well. The common room and kitchen are used for those. They are generally clean but often times a bit crowded. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and would love to revisit. It must be said though that maybe a hostel is not something for everyone and you need to be prepared for situations that may be different to what you expect. I was fully satisfied with the services provided to me.

Stayed for 1 night after the Eras tour. 24 hour check-in was a godsend as the trains had all been messed up. Extremely comfy beds. Being women only made all the difference - I felt safe and welcome. My room was quiet, and the toilets and showers were super clean in my experience.

This was my first solo trip staying in a hostel. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I felt so welcomed here. I stayed in a six bed dorm and the bed was very comfortable. However I would recommend ear plugs to avoid being woken up by traffic outside and people coming in and out of room. But I did get the best sleep. The toilets were clean and even provided sanitary products which is great! The showers were also very clean too. It’s in very close proximity to Bethnal Green station and a variety of bus stops. I would definitely stay here again as I felt very safe and secure here. It’s such a nice hostel :)

A very nice hostel! The emplacement is right next to the tube so really easy access. There is a pub next to it but the hostel security is good so i never had a problemThe girls staying can be messy but i saw the cleaning staff all day everyday and they do a really great job!The hostel staff are absolute sweetheart, between the activities and all of their advices they clearly made my trip! And even just chatting with them everyday was a joyYou should definitely pack some earplugs (like in every other hostel there is peoples in the room lol) but otherwise the bedroom are really comfortable

I stayed one night in a shared room of 4 girls. I think 2 of us were there solo and the other 2 girls were there together. Each bed has curtains so you have privacy. There is a little shelf with plugs to put your stuff down, charge your device and under the bed there is some space to keep your bags but it wasn't easily accessible in my room (sushi). The place is clean and tidy, showers are hot enough. The girls in my room didn't come back too late and they were very considerate, took 5 min of lights on just to quickly sort themselves to bed and then it was quiet for the rest of the night. The only thing that doesn't work very well is the electric hob which takes aaaaaages to heat up anything.Otherwise it's super safe and easy.
