This hotel was the perfect location for us. It was disappointing that the bar/pub was shut when we arrived as we’ve had a long drive & a quick drink would have been nice. The hotel itself “did a job”. …

Having stayed here previously in a downstairs room, this time we were upstairs with our 9 month old baby. I was disappointed we were not downstairs as the hotel does not have a lift.  …

I reviewed the hotel already this year, so won’t repeat that. This time it’s about the closure of the Monkey Puzzle restaurant and its effect on the hotel. …

Overall really disappointing stay. We are normally easily pleased, but this was one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. We were put in room number 12 and it smelt really damp and mouldy. It takes a lot for us to complain but at midnight we had to ask to move as the mould smell was overpowering. We travel a lot and have never had to move rooms anywhere before! To be fair the staff were really helpful and moved us to another room which didn’t smell, although wouldn’t say the place was up to normal premier inn standards. The hotel is very run down, clearly has some kind of damp problem that needs looking into and in desperate need of a renovation!! Also felt the reception area smelt and the restaurant next door.Disappointed the Beefeater restaurant had closed next door and now just a very basic restaurant with limited menu. Breakfast was okay but it only had one very slow coffee machine and they couldn’t keep up with the demand for hot food. The location is excellent (walking distance to Chessington) but we won’t stay here again unless they renovate the hotel and sort out the damp issues. Real shame as it used to be good years ago and has potential.

We stayed here as an overnight stop before flying on holiday from Gatwick. It was a good location about 20 minutes drive from Gatwick but half the price of staying at one of the Gatwick Premier Inn hotels, so it was a bargain. …

Reasonable for the price paid but wasn't great. Breakfast wasn't great as they kept running out of hot food and TV didn't work. Shower kept varying in temperature from hot to cold without touching the temperature. No lift so difficult to get up the stairs with a pram and luggage.Good things were that the bed was comfy and air con was good.

Unfortunately, the hotel is quite run down considering the cost, staff friendly but hallways not cleaned. The room was OK but stains on the carpet, blocks holding up furniture, not to usual Premier inn standards. Pub closed but now run by premier inn staff, limted choice of food and very basic so avoid meal deal. One morning, the staff hadn'tturned up, so breakfast was late, and I had to leave without anything being prepared. Would not recommend.

**Hotel Review:**I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The entire place felt damp and fusty from the moment we walked in. We had to change rooms three times just to find one that wasn’t filled with a terrible smell. When I informed the receptionist about the issue, I was shocked to be offered an air freshener to spray the room myself. The room we eventually settled on was still far from acceptable. It was filthy to the point that I didn’t even feel comfortable using the shower. The carpets were dirty and smelly, the walls damp, and even the towels had a musty odor.To top it all off, we were charged £10 just to check into our room because we arrived before 3 PM. The staff were unprofessional throughout the entire stay, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay away if you value cleanliness and decent service!

Stayed here for one night as I was travelling into London early the next morning. Upon arrival I was met by a polite staff member who was chatty and friendly. Unfortunately when I went to my room it wasn’t good. The room had a strong smell of urine/ammonia (room 11). To the point it made me feel sick and my eyes sting. I asked to change which was done quickly and without drama, thank you. Sadly, this room smelt strongly of sewage/ mould (room 3) I needed to stay so I put up with it. The air con was a wonderful extra and certainly needed. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it as it stands currently. It desperately needs refurbishing. Hopefully this will be done soon.
