I recently stayed at this hotel in Ilford, and it was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Upon arrival, we were asked to pay a £100 security deposit, which was never mentioned when I booked the room. Even worse, it’s been 14 days since my stay, and the deposit still hasn’t been returned. They also gave us a room in a different building, which was a 10-minute walk away from the main hotel, something that was not communicated beforehand. This made the experience even more inconvenient and frustrating. The room itself lacked even the most basic necessities. There were no blankets, no working lights, no refrigeration, and no ventilation. The room was also extremely smelly and felt unclean. On top of that, we didn’t have access to essential items like water. To make matters worse, when we tried to contact the reception, no one answered. We were left with no support for the entire stay. It felt like they took our money and provided zero service in return.I understand that things can occasionally go wrong, but the complete lack of customer service, hidden charges, the failure to return our deposit, and the fact that we were placed in a room in a different building with no prior notice made this a terrible experience. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I urge management to seriously improve their service and facilities. If you have spare money Its better to trash or through it then give them .Pathetic customer serviceI wish i rate them less than 0…. 👎

I had a very disappointing experience at this lodge. The place was far from clean, with a terrible smell of cigarettes throughout the rooms and common areas. It felt really off and unwelcoming. The staff were incredibly unfriendly, making the stay even more uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean or hospitable environment. Definitely not worth it.

Horrible hell. At night, taken to another place by taxi. Not safe for women. 3 men in muslim dress, muslim writings on walls. Questioned there. Taken to another place across the road behind a building, shown a room. When i asked where breakfast was going to be, i was told no breakfast. I booked including breakfast!! He wasn't interested. I stayed there but never ever again. Continue staying at signature hotel, it's good. This is rubbish and like in a 20th world country let alone 3rd world. Never seen a rubbish hotel like this in my life and am grey. See photos.

This is the worst hotel I have seen ever. Worst staff especially the night manager with long hairs. He was so rude and woke me up at 2 am midnight to solve the query of the payment. The staff booked a room with double bed and a single bed(triple room) on phone and charged me for that and upon arrival they gave me double room only for 2 kids and 2 adults. And they booked me over the phone and didnot send me the booking confirmation. I rang them atleast 5 or 6 times to send me the booking confirmation but every time they told me that your booking is confirmed and you can come for check in. I never got the booking confirmation. They are never told me to bring the card for booking confirmation. I paid them while booking over the phone and the guy who did this booking did not tell me any thing and assured me that your booking is confirmed. They are such a liars and cheaters. The worst hotel management I have ever seen. In my presence who ever came was complaining about the hotel. I would advise everyone to avoid this hotel. This hotel should be closed or atleast change the management especially the night manager with long hairs. No hospitality in the staff except a Pakistani staff who helped me to solve this. I asked him to call the police to solve me issue but the night manager did it let him call the police. Such a terrible visit to this hotel. Total loss of money.

Avoid at any cost! They charge you extra on arriving a deposit fee of 100 pounds. They have not return it for 17 days already. They still holding my deposit. You stay will cost you double then.Quality of room very poor- messy bathroom, hairs in bed, smell of fresh paint will make you have a headache.

Room was large and beds surprisingly ok....but other than that I'd never waste my money on this place. Looks like it was converted on an episode of cowboy builders....Windows that didn't fit or close without slamming , rusty heaters poorly repaired window sill, smelt damp ripped divan bed bases, a shower u could stand up in but not enough room to bend over to wash lower part of body. Couldn't go number 2 unless u sat sideways as sink fitted within inches of toilet....stayed 5 nights and had police attend twice....every night consisted of loud Noises from reception slamming doors, shouting knocking on our walls n doors. In 5 nights stay we were supplied towels once and had room cleaned once but our stuff inside the room was moved daily. Even had to padlock my bag whilst out the hotel.

The staff was very rude to us and gave us a room outside with a toilet about 10meters away and I have kids so when they want to go toilet in the middle of the night I can’t walk in the dark I tried to change my room but as I also have family in this building I didn’t want to go into another building further away and they took 200 pounds worth of deposit and are refusing to give us the money back the rooms were terrible it smells really horrible and it was very unhygenic and the rooms were very small and they were very rude to us. In another room there wasn’t even a bathroom in the room we had to share be with others and it was far away from our room wht happens when I need to take a shower … do not and I mean do not WASTE YOUR TIME HERE WHEN YOU COULD GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE..🤢🤮🤮🤢🤢🤮🤮

We were a bit worried about coming here at first because of all the bad reviews but was actually quite presently surprised. The reception was okay, There was a nice lady who took our information and took us to our room . Our room was okay, nice space, clean. Okay location as it was easy to get Ubers from and was also not that far from town and shops. There are a few things that could maybe help to boost this place to make it a bit better for example the room was a bit plain with no colour. (Which is fine ) But maybe some colour would be more pleasing to the eye.The walls are terribly thin and you can hear everything that next door gets up to for example when we were trying to sleep we could hear someone using a microwave about 5 times and their TV. Also it was hard and worrying as I was worried that we were being loud and would bother next door so was making sure we were quiet. You need to promote yourselves more. No sign saying who you are at the front so we weren't sure we were in the right place until we went in.Advice for some people make sure you get the receipt for the £100 pound deposit and maybe take photos of when you arrive and when you leave just in case. I know there's been a lot of negative feedback on this. Luckily it was okay for us . We got it back
