We had a delightful stay at the Richmond Harbour hotels. We were planning to attend the ritz afternoon tea and needed a hotel to stay and we decided to choose this hotel. The staff was very attentive and very welcoming. …

The hotel is sitting on the Richmond Hill which took a bit of walking but the view up there is spectacular! It has a humble look from the outside however the room was spacious and well decorated and very comfortable. Service was nice and welcoming. The only thing can be improved is the availability of spa treatments. We came to spend the weekend and the reason I chose here was for my mom to enjoy a relaxing spa treatment on her birthday. However when we booked there was only one treatment available and only lasted for 30 minutes which was disappointing and the swimming pool was too crowded for a relaxing experience.

We had a lovely stay, however our room wasn't as clean as we'd expected! For some reason we had sellotape stuck to all the ceiling in chunks... and we had slight mold growing in the bathroom. …

A very comfortable hotel. The bedroom was large and well appointed. The bed was large (super king I think) with lovely linens and very comfortable too. The bathroom was large and clean. The aircon was effective and quiet. It has a decent sized car park. The staff are friendly and efficient.

Popped in with a friend for a coffee. The Gate is a lovely room and the coffees were good HOWEVER on departing we had to pay £5 parking for less than an hour in the hotel car park. We appreciated there would be a parking charge but the amount charged is only known on exit. £5 an hour bears no resemblance to parking costs elsewhere locally and leaves a very sour taste in your mouth as a patron of the hotel. Obviously won’t be returning there.

It was a lovely staying experience for 7 days. Richmond Park was super close and the central was a great walk along the river and greens. …

My friend and I enjoyed a lovely spa weekend here. Great location for walks and shopping. The spa was very restful with an outside space. The restaurant was comfortable, and being able to sit outside for lunch was a treat. I have food restrictions that were well catered for. My only criticism would be that menue choices are limited.

The spa is nice and overall the hotel is great HOWEVER, if you are aiming for a good night of sleep this is just not the place. It’s not well insulated (as the majority of English hotels as they tend to be just old buildings) and you hear both people walking on your head on the upper floors, stomping and slamming doors, as well as car being parked and people talking on the driveway. So so disappointing for a 4 star hotel.

I stayed at the Harbour Hotel Richmond on 17/08. I’ve been to a few of the Harbour Hotels across the country and generally really like them. The Richmond hotel is in a lovely building, great location, the hotel is well maintained, has great decor and the rooms are lovely. The only let downs being the restaurant and the parking.Parking - when I arrived I went onto the parking app and paid my parking, however I found out later that you need to pay on exit. Therefore as I parked and then downloaded the app, my parking started 14 minutes after I arrived - so I’ve been told I may receive a PCN for this. It should be much clearer the car park is pay on exit.Restaurant - as it was a lovely sunny day, I waited in the garden for my room to be ready. I had a glass of wine and some water which set be back nearly £17. I then went to the restaurant for breakfast the next morning and had the full English and a coffee (not even a specialty coffee, just out of a jug). I was charged £20, which I think is extortionate. My room was lovely and I had a good sleep so I would stay again - I just wouldn’t use the restaurant.
