Lovely hotel. Modern and clean. For a solo stay my room was huge! :)I arrived at 10pm to check in after a long day and the staff were so friendly and very efficient! Quickest check in I've ever had (about 10 seconds 🙌) A very good price for London I thought too. Would absolutely stay again.

Solid hotel. Nothing luxurious, but a good, clean room with a great bed. I just want a place to sleep on vacation, and spend little time in the hotels. This offers that, exactly as advertised. Great value for money. Slight quibble checking-in as we paid for early arrival and the room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived, an hour later than expected. But, it was quickly rectified and the overall experience was perfect. Close to the trains and buses and easy walks to just about anywhere in Wimbledon.

The hotel was in an ideal location. Staff were really accommodating. They kept us supplied with tea, coffee and hot choc for the kids. They encouraged us to take extra from breakfast, for our day and supplied takeout cups. …

Best Travelodge I've ever stayed in, hands down.5 minutes walk from Wimbledon Station. The staff were polite, friendly, and efficient. It's a relatively new hotel, so it was in excellent condition. We stayed in room 614 and had an amazing view into Central London. There are a couple of nice restaurants and bars on the ground floor of the hotel. All the communal areas were in excellent condition. My only gripe would be the lack of a safe in the room and a lock on the bathroom door.Highly recommend.

Stayed for a days whist moving apartments and it was a perfect, stress free break with amazing service, 24 hr help and lovely staff. Plus an impressive, affordable and cosy bar and restaurant. Special shout to Sharmaine at the reception and bar, who made my stay that bit more special with a welcoming smile :D

We wanted a hotel in the centre of Wimbledon to enjoy both a couple of theatre visits and enjoy the local bars and restaurants. The Travelodge Wimbledon Central was the perfect choice.A few moments walk away from the train station, just over the road from the shops and bars and also a couple of minutes away from the New Wimbledon Theatre. The hotel is clearly still quite new and was spotless throughout. The reception, bar and buffet breakfast area are all on the first floor and breakfast was really tasty, all apart from their pancakes straight from the fridge. That was the only disappointment of the stay, but actually the main reason we were tempted to have breakfast there. Cheryl loves a pancake stack.... but not a freezing cold one.Our 'Super' room was on the 6th floor and was immaculate, spacious and with great air conditioning. The adjustable shower had real power and was also nice and hot from the moment you turned it on.Sleep wasn't a problem and we both had a great night's rest, probably helped by all the steps we did exploring the area and a couple of glasses of wine.Great that the standard checkout is 12pm meaning you're not rushed on the morning you leave and they also have great options for early check-in from 12pm and a later 2pm checkout. The final comments are for the excellent friendly staff from check-in, through to the bar and restaurant staff. Very polite and nothing too much trouble for them. We'll definitely return to this hotel when next in the area.

This is a cut above many of the London Travelodge. Not sure if it is a new build or a refurbish but it feels very good and news indeed and, by Travelodge London standards we had a very nice view. …
