Overall, the London Star Hotel is a decent budget option for a stay in London. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the reception area was clean and welcoming, although the air freshener scent was a bit overpowering. My room was located on the first floor and was adequate for my needs, but it was definitely on the basic side. For the price of £56 per night, I expected a few more amenities, such as a kettle, spoons, and drinking water. The bathroom was clean and functional, but it wasn't anything special. The shower gel and shampoo looked nice, but they weren't particularly impressive. The checkout process was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly once again. Parking options are limited, but there are some pay-and-display spots further up the road. The surrounding area felt safe and quiet, which was a plus. While the London Star Hotel is a decent value for the price, it's definitely a bit pricier than it should be. If you're looking for a no-frills budget option, it's worth considering. However, if you're willing to spend a bit more, you can probably find a better hotel with more amenities and a more comfortable atmosphere.

Fantastic experience with lovely staff. They made sure we got a good quality toddler travel cot, which is a plus when travelling with a small child. The room was very clean and well equipped. Great location, near all the different bus, tube, overground or train stations. Very well connected. Lot's of shops and restaurants nearby.

I stayed at The London Star with a tour group. I had one of the remodeled rooms. I’d suggest requesting a remodeled room. They are a huge upgrade from the non remodeled rooms. I did not have hot water the first night, but management took care of that by the second evening. The lobby has broken furniture and wires hanging out of the wall, and the Shisha bar is kind of loud until closing at 11 or 12. The location is fine if you’re willing to walk to the tube station or pay a bit for a cab. Grocery store nearby.

First of all, I’d like to personally thank PRIYANKA, her customer service was one of the best I’ve seen and she looked after myself and my wife very well, so I’d like to give credit to her where it’s due.Furthermore, the aesthetics of the hotel is really nice for a budgeted hotel such as this one, the smell of fresh oriental fragrances as you walk is a great example of a warm welcoming. The location is perfect as there are many shops located near by in walking distance.Shisha lovers would love this hotel, as soon as you enter/ leave, you have a lounge right next to the entrance/exit, perfect for the summer.Once again, definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, there’s a private spa round the corner and an indoor Team Sport Racing track, (perfect for a date with your partner) all within the vicinity of Acton.

Room was not clean, shower had a hair in it. TV and bedside lights didn't work. At least they gave us 2 pillows per person. Ok for 1 night but wouldn't stay longer. The plug was also charging my phone so slow compared to how it normally is
