The most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed in during my 5 month long stay in London and Europe. The beds were dirty, the closet had red stained underwear tossed the in, and the service was just bad. Gross all over.

When you book 2nights in a hotel, week early, how it's possible that when you arrive they don't have room, even if you paid for it and they waiting untill you arrived and after that they about to deal with that? I have been waiting on reception over 1h. at midnight, and they haven't found place to go for me??!!

We had booked a room for three 1 month in advance through a travel agencyTotal amount to pay: 1056 euros for 5 nights which may seem normal when it comes to a 4 star! But once you arrive... Total horror! How can such a hotel get 4 stars? The first room given to us was in the basement without windows or light! There was an impossible smell of humidity and we were unable to breathe! We therefore requested a second bedroom which was given to us on the ground floor where fortunately there was AIR! But the bathroom was a horror! The floor was broken tiles (you could have cut your foot if you weren't wearing flip flops) the tap was broken and the size of the bathroom was the same size as the toilet on an airplane! WHAT A SHAME ! in addition they gave us an extra bed for the third person but the springs were broken which meant that when lying down we fell straight to the ground because there was nothing to support the mattress! We would sink into the mattress and the next day we could guarantee back cramps. So we decided to yell once again in front of other customers at the reception in order to put pressure on them and this time, they decided to upgrade us to a room in the main hotel which is the Tophams at no additional cost which if I may say so is better than belgraviaThe room was air conditioned and the bathroom ok although there were traces of horrible humidity on the ceiling, very poor insulation of the rooms because we could hear everything that was happening above and below our room, and a broken mirror was located above the bed and we were afraid every time we moved in the bed that it would break even more and everything would fall on our heads! I give 1/5 as a rating and this 1 is deserved only for the good location of the hotel which is practical if you want to visit a lot of thingsIf unfortunately your room is horrible, don't hesitate to complain to get another room until you get a decent one.
