This hotel is in need of an update. To start with the positives, the hotel is in a very convenient place as it’s a very little walk to the underground and Hyde Park. The room had plenary of wardrobe space, despite having just one. …

So the thing is... The shower only had a boiling hot water and we couldn't figure out how to let it run cold. There were no instructions and there is no staff. The prices are nice, the hotel is very close to a tube station, there is hyde park right across the street and a lovely alley full of nice little shops right next to it, so overall I'd probably choose this place for my stay again.I just wish they did something with the bloody showers.

The location is brilliant. It's close to the underground and a 2 min walk to Hyde Park. The staff that we spoke to were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade. The corridors smell really bad and the elevator is on its last legs. No window in room. Walls are paper thin. Air con was so loud we could hear next doors and couldn't hear ourselves talk with ours on. AC was also faulty and dripping heavily over a double electric socket. A bit gutted as the rooms are so warm. Shower room was clean and the bedding was changed daily. If you're looking for convenience over quality then this is the place for you.

Absolutely do NOT go here! I don't normally write reviews but if it can stop someone feeling how my husband and I felt, it needs to be done. ||Outside and reception look lovely. …

Arrived, staff friendly and welcoming, checked in. Admittedly some of the hotel could benefit from undergoing some TLC however it is London and it’s priced that way. …

Polite and helpful staff. Good for price and location. Room i had a window open on a wall so no natural|light. Great location. Clean toilet and basic tea facilities on the room. Buffet breakfast. Clean and soft bed. Happy stay there again if in area.

Tourist trap. Marketing and pictures completely misleading. Rooms advertised do not correspond to the reality. Our family room wasn’t even close to the picture of the one advertised. The old decrepit room was in the basement with a blind window full of toilet paper. The room had mold and a small broken shower. Moquette was dirty… a theft for the price we paid. Among the worst stays of our life

I think the reviews give this place a hard rap, for what is actually a well priced, conveniently location and generally decent hotel. It’s walking distance from buses, trains and Hyde Park, as well as a bunch of restaurantsThe room was small but had a large bathroom, TV, safety deposit box, air conditioning and the bed was comfy. Also no street noise! The only noise was occasionally the pipes and people coming back very late but that was very minor. For the limited amount of time you spend in the room while in London, it does the job. Don’t rely on early check in being possible, but they do store your luggage if you get there early.

Comfortable bed, hot shower, close to Paddington station and Hyde Park. Perfect for one or two nights but not really any longer than that. |The room is very small as is the double bed.  …

Position is good, rooms are small but comfortable. All was clean, internet was good. The cooked part of the breakfast is mostly english breakfast, and it is not that great. The continental part of the breakfast is mostly cold food and packaged food. |The curtains do not filter the morning light well.
