The location is really good, a very short walk from Paddington Station, so it's a really good starting point to explore the city. The room was not so nice though. The shower was super narrow and moldy, the walls of the room were pretty dirty and the room was very small overall. We had a fridge and a small kitchenette but tbh it would be better to have a little more space instead. My husband and I had to sleep in bunk beds, where you feel each movement from the person above/below you and the mattresses were very hard. It was a challenge to get in and out of the room at times due to the narrow space and people were smoking cigarettes and weed in front of the house so it was uncomfortable to open the window.

We booked to stay here but a sign on the door told us to go to the nearby Beverley House Hotel instead. Noticed there was a building site close to this property but otherwise the location looked quiet and tidy, close to Paddington Station. Can't say any more as we ultimately didn't get to stay here.

I stay in hotels weekly and never have I walked in and immediately wanted to leave a hotel room. After walking to the address around 11 pm we saw a note in the door that said to go to another location to check in. …

We were guests in this hotel. When we arrived we were first told that our room had been given to another due to a mistake. We were nevertheless friendly as visitors and accepted the fact that we were given an extra bed in our room. But when we came into the room and first wanted to use the toilet, the toilet was obviously broken. Because water came out everywhere. After the second day in London we were told the loo would be fixed when we got back to the hotel. When we came and saw that the toilet was "repaired", we ran out of patience. After discussions, a plumber finally came and actually fixed the toilet. If you just need a place to stay, this is the hotel for you. But we didn't want to stay in there any longer than necessary. As described, towels were available but a hair dryer, for example, was not on site.

THE ROOMS LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS. We walked to check-in, and they made us walk to a separate building down the road which was weird but acceptable. Room provides basic necessities, but that's about it. Bad air circulation, dated furniture, window opened on main floor to pigeon-poop filled alleyway which was 100% a health hazard. Next to student housing (?) of some sort so expect loud drunk university students screaming and blasting music all weekend long until 2am. Could not sleep for a single minute. Room always smells even with window open of must and cigarettes/weed from other tenants and university housing nearby.Pros: Great location next to Paddington Station. Walkable neighborhood near multiple tube stops. Affordable for London. Basic room service was provided along with coffee and tea.In sum: great location to crash and access city. Horrendous location for actually staying and sleeping there. Ok for a cheap stay, absolutely abysmal if you have any expectation of quality lodging.

The location is perfect. The management are kind, warm and welcoming. Very affordable. Their website says minimal housekeeping. I have stayed here many times. Sheets and towels are always clean. Fridge, kettle, microwave provided. Good heating. Rooms on ground floor and basement are better than those upstairs. Very convenient to explore London and especially for larger groups. Paddington, Hyde Park and Oxford St are few mins walk. Talbot square outside is lovely to sit in. I even take work meetings there.

DON‘T BOOK THIS HOTEL! 🤢🤢🤢Terrible experience, the room was dirty and there is no condition to stay there. The room was smelling cigarette, the bed and the bathroom was dirty and also a lot of flies inside of the accomodation. We ran away from the room in the first moment that we have opened the door. We have asked for refund and the hotel declined. The only think that they matter is about money and not provide a decent service for their customers. I wouldn‘t wish for my worst enemy to stay in this hotel. To be very clear, I was not looking for luxury, but at least a good hygiene.🤢🤢🤢🤢

Location is excellent, just a few minutes from Paddington Station. The room was quite small but had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. A great place to rest your head in London.

The hotel is in a great location in London. Near a tube station and bus stops for travelling quickly into the west end and other attractions. In a square so quiet outside at night. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Great value for money.

After hotels.com messed up my booking I had to find a nearby and not too expensive hotel nearby - this was probably the only one in walking distance under £200 - looked to be in a nice area . …
