The bath/shower was not very clean, the room had not been cleaned properly it had the previous occupants underwear under the bed, the bedside drawer had an empty bottle in it, the tv remote control doesn’t look like it has ever been cleaned and the fan was caked in dust .On top of all that the lift wasn’t working and we had to climb three flights of stairs with cases, the out of service signs looked old like the lift has been out of service for quite some time. Not a very enjoyable experience, lucky we were only there the one night. It was a great location lots of nice restaurants in walking distance.

I am sure 20+ years ago this was a charming little hotel in a great location - the latter didn't change, but the hotel needs investment and some upgrading in the service level. Most importantly my room was clean and the price was dirt cheap compared to similar inner London hotels, so a good value in my opinion.

Went to London for 2 nights with a friend. Can't fault the location as it's right near Paddington Station, which makes travel easy. The first day that we arrived, we noticed the lock wasn't working, so we went back to the reception where we were told all the locks were taken off every room, they only have the key card lock. As we were in the middle of London, this made us quite uncomfortable. We were on the ground floor and didn't have any issues with hot water, and the bathroom was clean. The beds, while clean, were very hard to sleep on, and the pillow was very flat, basically non-existent. The rest of the room had a few broken items in it. One wall seemed to have dried up blood on it that wasn't cleaned off. Can't fault the breakfast as you get it for free. Both check-in and check out was very quick and easy.

A PATHETIC experience: Mess in the room, non-functional wi-fi, poor breakfast, the staff was not friendly at all, the radiator was blocked and we felt sick from the heat, the smell, the miserable shower cabin, when you put water in the radiators, you you woke up because of the noises, because they were actually roaring, non-functional elevator, the smell was unpleasant inside, typical of an unclean place. I will never come back here again.

I don't want to give it a star. There is nothing worth rating except for the proximity to the station, and the price is relatively cheap for the condition that it is close to the station, and breakfast is included. However, I will write this so that other people who are considering staying at a hotel in the future will not be offended. The room we stayed in was on the 6th floor of the building opposite the hotel. We stayed for 4 nights, but the elevator was broken and we had to carry more than 20 kilograms of luggage. When we arrived at the room, there was trash left in the hallway. And the most unpleasant thing that impressed me was the smell of the carpet in the hallway and the room. It is clear that it has not been cleaned for many years. This smell made me feel terrible for 4 days. On top of that, there were bugs in the futon and spiders on the curtains. I didn't like the smell, so I left the window open, and then flies came in and I couldn't get rid of them, and they stayed there for 4 days. When I first entered the room, I checked and there was still dust. Anyway, the most unpleasant smell was the unpleasant smell. I felt sorry for anyone who was offended by this trip, so I wrote this honestly. The toilet and bathroom were at least minimally clean. There's a difference between old and dirty.

Good stay at this hotel, the room was big enough for a family of 3, everything was clean and tidy. It's not modernised, however we rested well and the beds were very comfy. Breakfast was good, mainly basic food: boiled eggs, cheese, ham, toast, croissants, cereal, milk, juices. The hotel could do with replacing a few rusty bins and soap dispensers, but all in all it was a decent stay, close to Paddington station. The expectations were met.

So check in was quick and easy, friendly guy and got to our room. This was the cheapest hotel near Hyde park for a concert… and there were reasons why. Room was spacious and well equipped… however it was dirty around the edges. …

Another work trip, another budget hotel in Central London near Paddington.2 nights in single room.Room was on ground floor, which did make it a little noisy until late at night.Room and bathroom were dated but clean and spacious for a single . Bed was very comfortable. It was one of the hottest days in London, but room was not too warm, there was a fan but very dusty.Location, transportation and local amenities are excellent.Would stay again if the price was right.
