Recently stayed here as we had been gifted a two night stay. Can definitely say we were very pleased with everything. The room was clean, comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. Bartender with the ponytail (unfortunately didn’t get his name) was friendly and a great credit to the hotel.

Room 375 - advertised as in the castle wing this appears to mean "next to the boiler plant" so has a constant buzzing noise in the entire section. A constant 45db per app on my phone.Add to this the fridge in the room which turned on at 00:20 with an audible clunky ran for 8 minutes during which it proceeded to drown out the boiler room noise this was a less than quiet nights sleep. For some this is no issue but if you're a light sleeper avoid!Shower was really good, excellent water flow and temperature. Also the hotel charges £7 for parking on top of the room rate. Bizzare in this day and age for a motorway hotel not obviously close to anything. I can understand charging conference centre users but it should be rolled into the room rate instead of an extra charge for guests.Didn't sample the supplemental £12 breakfast as decided to just head up the road and save money by having a service station breakfast.

Perfect hotel to stay when I visit our head office which is opposite this hotel. It’s very clean and the breakfast is good quality and various options with hot and cold buffet. There are paper cups next to the coffee machine so you take your coffee out after breakfast. The bar is nice too.Car park is free for guests.

Very near the main road. Great location. Next to the 24 x 7 Mac Donald's. Opposite to the Holiday Inn Express which also has a restaurant! The hotel staff were cheerful and courteous, explaining with enthusiasm about neighbourhood locations. The Warwick castle, town centre, model railway museum, Stratford town walk, Stratford ghost walk.We also had a drive to Bath and the Lavender fields Somerset was a days activity after which we returned. The breakfast was great. We watched the Olympics opening ceremony in Paris from the bar yesterday night. The bar was managed by Joshua!

Had an appalling experience with food tonight. We waited an hour and a half to get to seated and then they tell us once we were seated that they only had pizza. I’m a celiac and can’t eat wheat so we had to try and find food outside of the hotel at 21:00hrs!! Currently in the hotel room starving and extremely disappointed. So many other people had to wait 2hrs + and ended up walking out as the delays for food was so bad that we bumped into other people also trying to find food else where.

Unfortunately it's not been the greatest visit. Had to request hairdryer and iron only for the hair dryer to not blow out hot air. The slow close on the door was also broken which stopped it shutting without intervention and booked this hotel due too stating there was air con only to find out, during the heat wave, the aircon was broken. However breakfast was great and staff accommodating of my requests and the room was what I needed.

Reasonably nice rooms. Breakfast and dinners were good. Good location for visiting Warwick Castle and the British Motor Museum. Interactions with staff could have been smoother. When we arrived (admittedly very late at night) we were waiting at the reception desk for 10 minutes as there was no one around and no bell to ring. We came here on a gift voucher through TravelZoo and had a lot of trouble checking in - despite having booking confirmation we apparently also needed a PIN code (which had been sent to the person who bought the voucher, not us). Weren’t allowed to check in until we put a card on file. Wasn’t the best start to our stay at gone 1am after a long drive. We then found that the TV didn’t work in our room, nor the room we were moved to when we pointed this out - attention to detail in room checks seems to be lacking.

DO NOT STAY. Car park unsecured with common theft. Defenders have had headlights taken and our work van had the side door peeled upen. We have stayed here twice as a party of 20+ contractors within 7 months. First time we had lights stolen from a new Defender. This morning we had our van broken into and the Land Rover 3 spaces over had its headlights stolen. This is obviously a very common issue and the staff acted like it was extremely rare and frankly didn't give a toss. We won't stay again after this. There no way this was a "one off" twice within 7 months. Not worth the risk!!!!!

My partner and I have stayed at this hotel 4 times within the last year as we attend a regular event hosted in the conference area downstairs. Our stays have always been a little 'quirky' but usually no major issues. However, this time there were quite a few issues which prompted me to post this review:- No working air-con in our room or throughout the entire hotel. This during one of the warmest weekends this year. After asking when it'd be fixed, no estimates or guarantees were provided. I also realised that looking at recent reviews, this has been an issue for at least a month which makes me think they have no intention of fixing this... which isn't acceptable!- We needed to call reception for toilet rolls and found the phone in our room was disconnected from the wall. After connecting it, this still didn't work, so I ended up having to walk down to reception at 2am instead!- We noticed what was either spilled food or perhaps something worse on the base of the bed (from previous occupants) which hadn't been cleaned up. Only after reporting this to reception did someone come up and clean it. The response on this was quick but it feels like one of those things that should have been spotted on normal housekeeping rounds.- There are two coffee machines in the morning breakfast area / restaurant. On each of the 3 days we came to breakfast, one of the coffee machines was out of order. And in another case, there was no milk in one of the machines. This seems like one of those things that should / could be solved within a 3 day period. On a more positive note, we found most of the staff to be incredibly helpful and very friendly. I just feel that there is either a lack of budget and / or a lack of attention to detail. I really hope they can improve going forward as this stay proved to be somewhat disappointing.
