We stayed at Manor Royal the night before our flight out of south terminal, and everything was excellent.|Special mention to Robert (but all staff were great) whose customer service was nothing short of exceptional! …

Stayed at Manor Royal Premier Inn overnight before morning flight from Gatwick. We have stayed here before. Rooms were very conformable, fantastic shower and we had good meal in the restaurant. My only gripe was the car park. Website indicates overnight Fee is £7, upon arrival we were advised £9 which was fine. Upon departure the machine charged us £12!. There was no staff to query this with and we had to leave for our flight, but perhaps it should be made clear how much the payments should be. We were at the hotel from 3pm to 8am!

Warning: Car Parking FineBe very careful using this hotel and the car park. We got a parking fine despite paying for the car park. Had to spend time submitting evidence and raising it to the hotel management to have the fine cancelled. When you pay to leave, you are given zero minutes to leave. So by the time you drive out, the allocated time to leave has already passed because the time of payment in the hotel is the time you need to have pass the ANPR camera at the exit barrier. Impossible to do.I emailed asking how this could have happened, but didn’t get a reply. I raised this with hotel staff in person and they said they didn’t own the car park. No solution. No reassurance that they will raise it with the car park provider. Just a shrug of shoulders and couldn’t care mentality. I can imagine they rely on many travelling guests to not be bothered to appeal the fine.Shoddy service and business practice.

Managed to get a couple of rooms here at the last minute after our evening flight home was cancelled. The check-in staff were super helpful considering how tired and stressed we were with young kids running around. The standard of the hotel/ rooms was in-line with what I have come to expect from any Premier Inn hotel; clean rooms and clean reception area. This excellent review really comes on the back of the staff, particularly at breakfast time. One of my sons has a nut allergy and the staff really went out of their way to go through the allergens and help us decide what to eat on the back of this. They even swapped cutlery to ensure that it was clean at our table. This was above and beyond as far as I am concerned and should be commended. All of this was done in a very friendly manner without making us feel like we were a nuisance during a busy breakfast service. On top of that the breakfast itself was great. Good selection of hot and gold food and the quality of ingredients was really good. The fact that kids eat free is an insane benefit really, making this without doubt the best value meal were had anywhere in London that weekend. You know what to expect with a Premier Inn. It is service like we had that elevates some branches over others.

This is a new or newly renovated hotel. Very clean, carpets still had new smell! Greeter was excellent, personable and informative, giving information on buses to airport. Room, clean and well decorated. …

What a revelation! This hotel could not have been better located and Premier Inn should use this particular team of staff as their exemplar as to how all Premier inns should be run. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff; everyone treated you as if you were the only customer in the place and the positivity and cheerfulness that the staff showed was totally infectious. Could not praise the staff enough. The evening meal was very good and the breakfast was outstanding. Plenty of choice - hot items were fresh and hot and more than sufficient for any appetite. If a quick continental breakfast is all that you want, again plenty of choice.

Fab premier inn. Had premier plus room on 6th floor, very impressed. Super clean and spacious. Very comfy bed. Coffee maker, water in fridge. Very reasonable priced. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone. All the staff couldn’t be more helpful! Check in was easy with staff on hand to help. The guy behind the bar super friendly stand out service in the restaurant from Sofia who went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. Food was great. Only down side is we’re staying only one night

Location was good, room was functional and adequate. Staff were lovely especially in the dining room, although the meal was pricey. It came to £100 for mains, drinks and a couple of desserts for a family of 4. The parking situation is an absolute joke though. You have to pay for parking every time you want to leave the hotel car park rather than it being a flat rate for your stay. It feels like a ploy so you have to stay and use their restaurant rather than drive down the road for more choice. I've honestly never seen that kind of set up before and it really soured the whole experience. The great staff are the only reason it gets 3 stars otherwise it would be 2.

Nice rooms with a comfortable bed. The windows could be more sound proofed as you could hear the planes landing and taking off. Stayed the premier inn by the north terminal that was much quieter. However this one is quite a bit cheaper. Handy to have a bus stop right outside and it takes you to the airport in about 10 mins.
