Car park is very good, room was superb. Clean, comfy and quiet. Only bug bare for me is I had paid for a free drink and free parking, they were reluctant to give me the drinks voucher and tried charging me on 3 different occasions for parking which is annoying. But all quickly resolved!!

Overall an excellent experience and overnight stay. |Stayed for just 1 night due to being in Torpoint for the day on Friday. |Hotel located centrally, easy to get to via car. Just over the road from train station if you come via train. …

Lovely hotel near Railway station and the dining in breakfast was excellent run efficiently by Mairita who with her staff couldn't be more attentive and food very good The room was clean and well stocked. The kettle was handy with plenty of coffee tea and milk. Bathroom a bit dated but clean and nice products.

At a glance, the hotel looks a little dated. But once inside it seems to have been updated somewhat recently (fresh paint, new beds). The rooms are very clean (though a bit crowded with some large chairs) and the beds are very comfortable. It’s a great location, very close to the train station and within walking distance of all the sites, including the The Hoe and Barbican areas. I would definitely stay here again if I were in Plymouth.

Coffee in lobby is for breakfast deal but you can buy a cup for £4 and refill occasionally.Free drink / Beer in the bar for each resident.Water in taps is undrinkable but there is a fountain in the lobby.Senior staff were on the ball, junior staff maybe needed some assistance.Checked in online, but nothing organised and all had to be prepared, nothing explained or offered we had to ask all the questions which should be automatic offers and explanations.Odd layout for hotel and rooms, but excellent stay for the money.

Lived in Plymouth when the hotel was first opened so it fits its age. Service was great - especially the breakfast staff. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide choice. Bed was comfortable considering it wasn’t a Premier Inn.

This is my second time staying at the Copthorne Plymouth. My first visit last summer was acceptable however room was boiling hot.| i decided to give it another go and booked direct with the hotel though the rate was extortionate. …
