You won't be disappointed with this property.Stayed for 2 weeks it's all like knew, spotlessly clean from top to bottom. We found it to be ideally situated to visit the area and many beaches are within a 20 minute drive. And don't overlook Kingsbridge it's a lovely little town.

We stayed at The Boat House for 1 week in August. The place itself is lovely with a lovely view. However, this is completely overshadowed by the amount of noise and disturbance every morning from the neighbouring pub.The day we arrived there was a pub festival going on which we were not made aware of. The noise went on until the early hours. The pub bins are located just meters away from the bedroom windows (which are single glazed). The bins can be heard being emptied several times throughout the week with an incredibly crashing of glass bottles. As well as this, bottles are thrown in every morning, reversing rubbish trucks right down to the property, pub deliveries (delivery entrance also just meters away), followed by bin jet washing out the front of the property for several hours on our final morning. Bins were then kindly positioned in front of the bedroom window. With this amongst other noise, we were woken every morning between 7am and 8am, not what we wanted or expected from a holiday.I would recommend this property if you have effective ear plugs and may be slightly better if the owner considers fitting double glazing to the bedrooms.
